Ryuu's ragged breath shook his chest as he wiped the blood that had dripped from his forehead into his eye. He glared upward at the massive beast that pinned him down, his knife, which stuck from the creatures chest, had already proved useless. A small blade just wouldn't cut it against a bear of this size... He cursed under his breath; if only he had been in the horse realm, his power would've been plenty to finish off this creature.
Ryuu closed his eyes, and a face flashed through his mind. That one face made him smile, even when pain racked his body. How could he die here, without seeing her one last time? His mouth hardened into a line, and he gripped the sides of the snarling creature with both hands. Then he pushed as hard as he could, trying to get the animal off him before it could pierce his neck with it's teeth. But it was no good, he just wasn't strong enough...
(Awwww, he's about to die and he's thinking about her... I know, so typical XD)

 Keisha had grown a bit since she had last seen Ryuu... she couldn't even tell you why she had not tried to find him... it seemed that every time she had tried... he was no where to be found... With a sigh, she slipped her arrows and Bow onto her back before starting to continue walking from the stream... she had a good amount of beautiful black arrows in her quiver, and her bow was oddly clear, though that made sense, it would blend in way better with her surroundings that any other kind of bow...
Her sharp ears just happened to pick up the sounds of something ahead of her, being quick and silent on her feet, she headed towards the place where the noises were coming from.
Keisha could have sworn that the sight stopped her heart and threw it up into her throat... she couldn't bring any words to her lips but the one thought flashed through her mind...Ryuu...She couldn't let whatever the hell was on top of him, kill him... silently and swiftly, Keisha drew up her bow and an arrow, aiming it with precision at a fatal area, pulling the arrow as far back as she could, Keisha allowed it to fly through the air towards the creature, hopefully it would hit it's mark, the heart, and knock the creature off of Ryuu.... |

Ryuu felt the bear shudder and fall, it's head landing just on his shoulder. After a moment, the creature was completely still. Ryuu gave a sigh of relief. "Wait, what just happened?"
After a moment, he realized he had an even bigger problem. How the hell was he supposed to get an animal that weighed well over a ton off of him? He tried to pull himself out from under the animal, but it was futile. "Shit!"

Keisha cursed underneath her breath as she slipped her bow back into place before running up towards Ryuu. Using her weight she shoved against the Bear, trying to roll it off of him.
"Ryuu, are you... alright? Just hang on... please.."
She shoved against the bear again, using her shoulder and legs, trying to lift it up and roll it... if she left it where it was... it would probably crush him... and she could not allow for that to happen...

Ryuu turned his head to look at the figure approaching him, and a dazed smile spread across his face. "Wow, I guess I died after all..." he said softly. Then he straightened his neck and closed his eyes, "But that's okay. If death means I got to see her again..."
After a moment, Ryuu opened his eyes again. "Wait a second, if I died then why the hell does it still hurt this much?" he yelled. "Maybe... Maybe I'm not dead?" He turned his head, and upon seeing Keisha, sighed, "Yep, I'm definitely dead..."

Keisha grunted slight as she was finally able to roll the damned bear off of Ryuu after about fifteen minutes. Still slightly out of breath she placed her bow next to him on the ground before cradling his head in her lap, her eyes watching him with a bit of sadness...
"Ryuu.... don't be stupid you aren't dead... I killed the bear before it could kill you..."
Her eyes held her sadness a bit as she watched him, she wasn't sure about his injuries and such... she was afraid to move him basically.... She leaned over slightly, placing her lips to his forehead before looking up into his eyes, whispering to him.
"Ryuu, just hang on, i'll try to help you as best i can, but you can't leave me... Got it?"

Ryuu watched her, his expression still dazed. "Why would I leave you?" he asked in a hazy voice. Then after a moment, he bolted upright. "Wait, I'm not dead?" His eyes traveled up until they met hers, and a deep red hue colored his face. "Oh..." he said in a small voice.
Suddenly Ryuu's body tensed and locked as another wave of pain crashed over him. I guess I shouldn't have sat up so quickly he thought as he lay back down, much slower this time. "I just need to rest a while, that's all," he mumbled as he slipped from consciousness.

Keisha watched him carefully, her hand lightly on his shoulder as he sat up straight too fast. When he laid back down her hand was still on his shoulder softly.
"It's alright Ryuu, get some rest... i'll be here when you wake up, I promise."
Keisha noticed that Ryuu was already unconscious so she very carefully dragged him to a nearby tree, keeping her bow close by as she rested his head against her legs again, leaning slighting back against the tree, listening for anything that may indicate and enemy near by..

When Ryuu opened his eyes again, he saw her. He blinked a few times to clear the drowsiness from his eyes and recall everything that had happened, and then tilted his head back. "You know... With clothes like that, I bet every guy you met from age 13 to 70 couldn't take his eyes off you..." He pulled himself upright and wrapped one arm around her, watching her face, "It... it kinda makes me feel... Possessive." He jumped back suddenly, "Ah! I mean-" He rubbed his forehead, "I must still be out of it from bloodloss. Yeah, that's it." He gave a nervous laugh then fell silent.

Keisha smiled softly as she stepped towards Ryuu, cupping his face in her hands, calmly looking upon him before speaking softly.
"Ryuu, it's alright, i get what you mean, really..."
She gave him a warm smile before kissing him softly, once on his lips. Smiling as she watched him quietly.

Ryuu's whole face lit up, and he beamed. "Okay, I'll blame this one on the blood loss too: I've been waiting for that for a really long time." His smile widened, then dropped off his face as he cringed from pain. He twisted his neck to glance at his back, and seeing the dark blood soak through the black fabric, he shrugged his shirt off. He sighed deeply when he saw the deep gashes that ran parallel down his back, a mark from the bear's claws, "Great, more scars..." He turned his gaze back to Keisha and smiled sadly, "Sorry... I keep damaging something that belongs to you." (I want to post pictures of Ryuu, but sadly, I used a random anime guy I found on photobucket for his picture, not one that I knew. So do you think Kurosaki Tasuku looks anything like him? I know it's a stretch... Anyways, you're probably not familiar with Dengeki Daisy, so this is him:   if you forgot, this is the pic I have for his profile:  so, is there something there, or is it no good? BE HONEST!!!!!) |

Keisha smiled softly at Ryuu.
"Do not worry about it Ryuu, it's fine. You don't have to apologize."
She sighed softly as she grabbed her bag.
"Ryuu, let me see your back... please..."

"It's nothing, don't worry too much about it." Ryuu pulled his shirt back on, purposefully not allowing her to see the wounds on his back. He was alive, and that was all that mattered. There was no sense in letting her worry over something like that; as long as he got stitches, it would be fine. The blood had already begun to clot, and soon the only thing remaining would be a scar. It didn't bother him, he had more scars than he could count. He was used to this. He turned his back to Keisha and took a few steps, then paused. As if an afterthought, he turned his gaze back toward her, and gave a reassuring smile. The wind ruffled his hair as he tilted his head back, keeping his eyes locked on her face. "Care to come with me for a bit?" (I'm still debating on the thing with Kurosaki, so I tried to find more pictures to see if I could compare them to the one I used. I know its not really a big deal if I can post pictures of Ryuu or not, but I really like using pictures in my post, so I need to find a character I can use!!!!! though its also tough with him because Dengeki Daisy is only a manga, so there arent any anime pictures of him. Anyways, let me know if you can find anyone that looks like him too. This is another ok picture I found of him:  |

Ryuu led her through the forest for a minute until he came to a small hole dug into the ground. He smiled sadly, "That bear didn't attack me for no reason. It sensed me as a threat, and was only protecting these two little guys..." He indicated the front of the hole, where two tiny bear cubs were curled up together, sleeping soundly. "And now, these two are without a mother." Suddenly realizing how that could be taken, he turned to Keisha, "Really, thank you for saving me, though. It was my fault for traveling too close to their home. I just feel like they're my responsibility now, I can't leave them alone..."
