Black scars burn across the land where acid has seeped into the dirt, and as such hardly anything will grow here. Even the plants that do grow in soil with such acidity contain some of it's poisons throughout, and as such would be harmful to most creature if consumed. There is a single valley with a small lake that remains for the most part untouched by the lead, so it is free of his poisons, and contains fresh air and lush vegetation.
