"They call to you don't they? Especially the diamond katana with the gold finish. It I forged for the person to become a dragon rider, it is said the dragon rider can create more terror the those of the Lord of the Darks. I supose the katana is not what you want though, she said getting ready to take away her claw, "There is a lot of power within it."

He could feel the power urging him from within, but he shook his head. "I prefer to rely on my own power," he said staring at his hands. He clenched them tightly into fists, his eyes darkening.

“To bad, I guess you are not the Dragon Rider.” She shook her head and made a tsking sound, she went to turn away carrying the Dragon katana, and thought to her self, -The Twilight couldn’t have lied, it said he would be the Dragon Rider and we would strike fear in to all.- She started to walk away slowly.

"I would be if that is what you wanted, but I wont say that I will rely on the power of a weapon..." he trailed off, watching her. This dragon was almost impossible for him to read, even with his skill in the area, and he hoped he wouldn't accidentally bust a nerve and have her try to kill him. He had to suppress a chuckle at the image he had in his head now, it was funny yet terrifying at the same time.

“Try out the blade and see if it fits you.” She said holding it out, even in dragon form she had strange way of getting what she wanted. She watched closely and stretched out her claw to him with the Dragon katana.

He hesitantly reached out his hand and wrapped his fingers around the hilt. At once he felt the shock of the power within the blade, and the feeling was indescribable. It was as if it opened every pore on his body, and poured itself into him. It was almost smothering. It quickly adjusted to his wavelength, and receded to a comfortable sense of connection with the sword. It was different then anything he'd seen before.

(Never saw that movie…oh yes I have, but Li doesn’t ride in a saddle and he as long as he carries the katana will stay basically glued to her even when she flies up side down, he could tap dance on her if her liked.)
Fahd looked at him “Good, now keep the sword on you when we fly and you will never fall off me.” She said staring at him waiting for him to jump on.

He placed the sheath on his back, and leapt upward, landing neatly on the dragon's back. The scales were hard but fairly smooth, and he cracked a small smile. "Heh, this would be pretty hard if I was still a horse."

She smiled and took off at a powerful speed and she did loops and spirals. Her wings beat fast and hard gaining speed, she seemed more connected with him. The spikes on her back laid flat to her scales letting Li have more movement.

The wind rushed past his face as she flew faster, and he sat lightly on her back as she looped in the air. She had been right, he would not fall off even when she flew at breakneck speeds upside-down. The excitement of the flight pulsed through his body, and he felt truly powerful. For the time being, he pushed his desire to be a horse again to the back of his mind, though it never weakened.

She finally slowed and landed softly with a thud. She shook slightly, and she looked at him, “Li, look at your skin.” She said surprised.

He glanced down at his body, and gasped when he saw the red scaly armor that covered his torso. It looked almost like the skin of a dragon, glowing in the sunlight. This is what it looked like(except of course on Li not this guy, and he doesn't have wings):  |

“Fitting. After all you are the Dragon Rider or Warrior your choice.” She said and stretched out her wings and body before flying up to the cliff outside the cave and lying in the sun.
