Lloyd dodged the water and sped up the current just around his frame, letting him fly forward with little effort. He wouldn't lose easily, he had come to think of this little contest as a test of his own abilities.

Mystic
Mystic emerged from under the water and dodged Lloyd who was spinning towards her. Unluckily her sister was not so lucky. BAM Loyd
sped into her toppling her of balance. Mystic knew that they the three of them made a great team. She had the brains and Lloyd and Shadow had the powers.
Shadow
Shadow toppled of balence but soon recovered it. She charged at Lloyed and before she hit him she dived under the water and came up behind him splashing water on him she laughed having fun

(o suuuure, so Lloyd has no brains now.... just kidding)
Lloyd jumped out of the water, shaking his coat dry. He turned and bolted toward the cliff, continuing the chase they were playing. He told himself that the reason he joined in was because it would make him stronger, but in truth he was enjoying himself. He gave a slight buck and galloped to the top of the hill, where he could see all of his land and farther beyond. Then he took a daring dive into the pool below.

ooc- no Lloyds got brains but Mystics got the better ones haha
Shadow
Shadow flew out of the pool the water streaming of her dapple white coat. She flew faster and faster till she reached Lloyd, She streamed towards him faster and faster till she hit the ground. She galloped along at top speed and rushed faster and faster towards him. then just as she was about to hit him she took a daring dive and plunged into the cold water laughing. She had not done this in a long time and she was testing her powers to the limit
mystic
I followed along and waded into the deep pool happily watching my sister and Lloyd fight. I felt like joining in the fun. I turned invisible and came up behind Lloyd....

Lloyd disappeared under the water, immersing himself entirely in it. He broke the surface behind Shadow and sprayed her with water, then turned and swam in the other direction. But he hadn't seen Mystic since she had turned invisible... It was starting to bug him a little, but he ignored it. He could never admit that to himself, and as long as she was in his land, she was safe.

Mystic.
Mystic submergerd herself under the water and waited. then at the last moment when Lloyd came swimming over she emerged and turned non invisible taking Lloyd by surprise. she laughed and ducked under the water before Lloyd could get her back
Shadow.
Shadow Laughed as Lloyd splashed water onto her but she recovered. she did not have power in water but she could go at lightning speed when she wanted to. She let her horn absorb the suns energy and took of like a spinning tornado in the water towards Lloyd

(the energy she absorbed from the sun is still weak tho, so she cant go as fast as she normally can)
Lloyd suddenly froze, the scars on his legs burned intensely. He leapt from the water, cringing, and fell to his knees. He didn't know what it meant, but he masked the pain from his face, cursing the one who had given the scars to him under his breath. He rose to his feet and turned to the mares, smiling as if nothing had happened.

Mystics power reacted almost the instant Lloyd froze. She dived under the water and touched his legs with her horn. It would not heal it for whatever it was was to powerful but it would ease the pain almost Instantly. she emerged and nuzzled Lloyd hoping he would be alright. under her breath she swore that she would kill the dark lord one day, she would kill him for doing this to her stallion and she would kill him for all the other innocent horses who had been his victoms.

When he saw Mystic's reaction, he criticized himself inwardly. He knew this was his fight alone, and he didn't want anyone else getting caught up in it and hurt, especially her. He turned his head away, his eyes rueful. There was only one way to make sure no one else was caught up in this, he knew, and that was to become stronger himself. He started walking silently back to his waterfall hideout, hoping his attitude would not scare away Mystic completely but keep her from risking herself.

Mystic nodded her head silently as Lloyd walked away. She knew this was a fight alone and that she should not have interfeared. She sighed knowing that Lloyd was disipointed. anyway she thought. She dropped her head down to graze and waited for Lloyd to come back out.
Shadow
Shadow watched Lloyd walk away confused. Then she to put her head down to graze happy that she was with her sister and waited for Lloyd to come back out. |

In the cavern, Lloyd trained viciously in response to the frustration he was feeling. I HAVE to get stronger!
He attacked the wall, tackling it and slamming his hooves into the hard surface, testing how much his body could take. For a solid hour he trained relentlessly, until his body was so battered he collapsed from exhaustion. He struggled to his hooves and forced himself to walk outside the cavern where he could watch the mares without being seen to make sure no one entered his lands.

Mystic heard thundering from inside the cave. A tear rolled down her cheek, she knew Lloyd had to get stronger but he was pushing himself to hard. She trotted up to him and sniffed the battered places he had been hit. she shook her head and thought lord oh lord please dont kill yourself She nuzzled im and grazed next to him while watching shadow and the border of Lloyds land

Sensing her anxiety, he looked at her closely. "Don't worry, I'm not ready to die just yet. But there is something I must do, so can you stay here and watch everything while I'm gone?" He pawed the ground restlessly, he had to make a name for himself before he could face the Lord of the Darks. And the only way to do that was to cause trouble with them.

"Are you sure you dont want me to come with you, Shadow will watch over the land, you can trust her" She nuzzled him half wanting to come with him but knowing that she would understand if he did not let her. She looked into his eyes not showing her emotions but underneith she was hopeful

Lloyd knew how she felt, but he wouldn't budge. "I wont allow anyone to needlessly risk their life. Please understand." He turned slowly and started walking towards the border, his aim at the land of Nightmares of Death. He would make a name for himself, and come to strike fear in the hearts of the Darks. He didn't look back, afraid that his resolve would falter if he did.
