Mordecai nodded, and caught a Shrike-knife as it was thrown at him. He shook his head at the offender, throwing the knife back with a flick of the wrist, though still carrying enough force for it to punch clean through his head and embed itself in a tree behind him. Mordy then charged into their group, left shoulder forward, blade held out behind, and hit them like a tidal wave. Several were knocked aside like bowling pins, as the sword discharged like an electric pulse, stunning the majority of them for a few seconds.
(Hehe... He's just so cheap.)

Storm's eyes lit up with excitement as she slowly backed up, watching in joy as the rest of the guy's who weren't paralyzed by Mordy came towards her. As soon as one got close enough, her wings whipped up a dirt cloud. As soon as it was thick enough, she sent the cloud towards them as razor sharp needles. Only a few were able to avoid the needles, which she didn't hesitate to lock them in a cage.

Mordecai swung the blade in deadly arcs, while with his free hand he doled out nearly as much punishment with the massive amount of force he could put behind blows. He would occasionally take a weapon from one of the dead in his free hand and throw it with deadly accuracy and force at one of the living assailants.

Separating the four men so that one was in a sand cage off to the side, she slowly decreased the cage holding the three other. These men had followed her long enough, tried to injure and capture her for long enough...and now it was time that they faced the consequences. Inch by inch she made the cage smaller until snapping of bones could be heard beneath the screams of the men, until it ending with blood spurting every where, coming down like bloodied ran. Almost as if the gods in the sky were murdered.

Mordecai raised an eyebrow as he decapitated another of the assailants with a punch. The Mare was somewhat.... Dark.... Borderline sadistic, but no issue. He had seen far more twisted creatures. Dismissing the thought, he leaned down and began drying the blood from his hand on the shirt of one of the assailants, whilst easily parrying the attacks from another. Finishing, he stood, and cleaved the man's sword arm off, before running him through.

Turning her head slowly towards the remaing enemy in another cage. Walking towards him, her sand swirled dangerously around her. Stopping when she was in front of the man she spoke in an angered voice. 'Why were you following me?' 'I was hired to' he spat back. 'By who..' 'You'll never get me to tell' Sand cage tightens. 'By who.' Her voice even angrier.' 'Someone in another village.' 'What's their name?' 'I don't know' Cage shrinks, a few bones crack as a scream echoes. '-pants-His name is Aaron.'

Mordy dropped the lifeless corpse of the last of the assailants that wasn't in one of the cages, and looked over at Storm. Again, a little dark, borderline sadistic, but it worked. He wondered, however, who this Aaron character was, why he wanted to have Storm killed, and whether he himself had made a mistake in getting involved.

With a final glare from Storm, the man was no more. With a sigh the bay mare looked over at Mordy, her body back to how it was before the attempted capture. 'I guess your wondering about why they were here?huh?' Her sandy eyes looked into his.

"Somewhat." Mordy said, wiping his blade on the grass before returning it to it's scabbard. He looked at the dead around them. Killing was, unfortunately, one of those things that got easier the more you did it. As such, he felt not guilt, but wonder. What had they just died for? He dismissed the thought. It seemed the mare was about to tell him anyway.

Storm nodded. 'Where to begin. After i was separated from my heard a year or two ago. People, well more like Collectors started coming. I soon found out that...i'm now the last of my lineage. And now that Aaron guy wants to find me for his collection of rare things. I found out from one of his men last year, that he wanted to take me from this world and sell me as some pet to be used at someone's disposal. That means i lose everything i have here, my abilities, my voice, but most of all my freedom'

"Indeed? This is something that cannot continue. This Aaron is easily the worsy kind of person. I'll rid him from your worries, if you wish. Though I may not be this powerful in the human world, I'm still plenty formiddable. If I can find him, I'll do the deed if you wish." Mordecai said, slight anger showing on his face. He couldn't stand those that thought of living things as mere items. And this man... He took it far beyond that.

Storm thought for a minute, before finally nodding her head. 'Thank you, Mordy. Name anything as a way i could repay you, and i would be glad to accept.' She was glad that someone had offered to help her, though if Aaron was found hiding out in the human word, she would have been no match. She prayed Mordy wouldn't get hurt at her extent, otherwise she might blame herself seeing as it was her enemy

"You don't need to repay me, he is the type of man who takes life as a token object. He'll be giving me his as payment because of this. Those who view life as something to take and keep as though it were a material thing shall only suffer the most painful of ends." Mordecai said, his voice now taking on a vicious tone.

Storm agreed, if he said he wouldn't ask her to pay him back. Than she would accept his decision. 'Well, well, well. What is this? Who are you to try and take claim on my mare?' Storm froze before spinning around, hate glaring in her eyes. 'I will never be yours.EVER.' The red haired male smirked. 'Well, you've definitely grown into a beautiful mare, no scars. Yup you'll sell nicely in the ring.' Sand swirled dangerously around the bay mare, just the site of this man caused her to feel disgusted.

Mordecai was suddenly behind Aaron. He stood perfectly calm.
"I'm not trying to claim her. Quite the opposite. I'm trying to keep you from doing such. And she's not yours. The Mare is a living being, much as yourself. How would you feel if I were to take everything from you, and keep you as a collectors item to sell for profit, you worthless insect?" He asked, his voice staying even. That was the part that would pose the most fear. The lack of threatening tone implied that he could, and was willing to do, just that.
