Dasuke walked down a path in the forest as the slope slowly increased as they headed towards a cliff where a two story stone house stood. Its dark green doors were still locked from before she had gone into the other world.
'It might be dusty so, sorry 'bout that but i haven't been here since before we went into the other world.'

Gaara gave a small chuckle, "As if dust would bother me." He shifted the huge gourd of sand on his back; he knew it would serve him no purpose here, but he didn't feel comfortable without it. He quickly eyed the surroundings, making sure they were safe, then scanned the house itself. It would be easier to make sure Dasuke was safe here, and that was all he needed to know. But he also had to make sure her wound was healing properly, "How do you feel?" he asked.

Dasuke unlocked her front door as she answered his question.
'Other than slightly worn out, i'm fine.'
Walking into the house she noticed that it oddly enough...there wasn't a speck of dust. A note caught her eye as she walked over to read it.
Dasuke,
it's your cousin, Jourdan. I stopped but you weren't home.hope the house is still clean when you do. i also restocked your food
Jourdan
She crumpled the note before moving to the couch to sit.
'You can make youself comftably if you want'

Gaara walked through the door slowly, shutting it behind them. Then he slipped the gourd off of his back and propped it against the wall before leaning against the wall himself. He closed his eyes, being perfectly quiet.

A male of around 17 quietly walked up to the back of the house...it looked just as it had last week; empty and forgotten.
Running a hand through his short dirty blonde hair the male started to quietly climb ontop the roof with the ladder that he had left there last time. Un fortunately as soon as he was on the patio roof...the ladder fell with a loud clang.
'Shit...i hope her neighbors don't check it out....well so much for me sneaking in to help my cousin out. She'll be pissed when she hears i lost a key'

Gaara's eyes snapped open when he heard a loud clatter from outside. Someone was there! Without making a sound, he moved towards where it had come from, his eyes dark and serious.

The male felt eyes on him and when he turned around and saw someone glaring up at him he jumped. Unfortunately when he jumped...he fell off the roof insted of on it. He groaned quietly when he landed on his back. When he opened his eyes he frowned.
'who the hell are you?'
Having heard a loud noise, Dasuke was awaken from her light nap. After blinking a few times she tried to figure out what had woken her up.

In a flash Gaara was standing over the boy; he grabbed him by the collar and lifted him into the air. "I think you're the one who needs to explain yourself. What do you want with Dasuke?" Gaara was not calm by any means, he had never seen this boy before and Dasuke was still hurt.

The male looked surprised as the red head spoke his cousin's name.
'How do you know my cousin? Where is she? This very important that i tell her this...'
Hearing voices outside the patio, Dasuke walked that way. She was slightly surprised to see her cousin, let alone being held up by Gaara.
'Jourdan? What are you doing here?'
Dasuke walked over and placed a hand on Gaara's shoulder.
'Gaara, it's ok...you can put him down. He's not going to do anything...i promise you, i'll be fine.'

Gaara released his grip, letting the boy fall to the ground, but still stood protectively between him and Dasuke. "Tell he what you need to, but if that is all then you can leave after." His untrusting eyes were glued to the boy's face, watching his every movement.

Jourdan pushed himself to his feet as Dasuke walked over to stand next to Gaara, though still somewhat behind him.
"Jourdan, what was it that you had to tell me?"
Jourdan looked back and forth between Dasuke and Gaara, momentarily forgetting what he was going to tell his cousin.
Dasuke sighed as she looked at her cousin.
"Jourdan...fo--"
"She's back...I know you probably don't want to hear it, hell even i didn't want to. But i had to let you know, Dasuke. She's back...and...she isn't the same."
Dasuke's body stiffened slightly as she took in the meaning to her cousin's words. Yet, she still couldn't fully believe him.
"W-what do you mean she's back Jourdan? There's no way she could be...she said so herself that she wouldn't...What the hell are you trying to say Jourdan!"
Dasuke was shaking very slightly from what her cousin had just told her.

Gaara could sense Dasuke's apprehension, whoever Jourdan was talking about was bad news. "Who's back?" he asked urgently.

Jourdan glanced at Dasuke, who looked as if she was still trying to figure out how it was possible. With a sigh he decided to explain it to Gaara, though he would leave the major details for Dasuke to tell him.
"My sister Trinity. Her and Dasuke hated each other when they were younger, mainly they thought of each other as competition. Well after what happened with Dasuke and her parents...Trinity left. Even though my sister had said she would never come back, i'm now figure out that it must have been so she could try to catch us off guard. All i can say is that Trinity wants revenge...and knowing my sister...she won't stop till she is either gotten rid of or fulfills her revenge. Which is why that i ask that you protect Dasuke, I am rather fond of her as my cousin and i would hate for anyhting to happen to her...especially since i know that Trinity won't stop till she finishes what ever her goal is. I won't be back...that is for sure, i don't need Trinity to start following me...unless she already is.."
With that Jourdan started to walk away, he knew he couldn't stay here..especially since he could never tell if Trinity was following him or having someone follow him. He would never forgive himself if he was the reason his cousin was hurt further.

Gaara watched the boy leave before he said anything. "Don't worry about it Dasuke, as long as I'm here she wont touch you." He knew words wouldn't be enough to reassure her, but it was all he could do for now. He didn't know what had happened between the two, and didn't want to pry into Dasuke's life, so he said nothing more.

Dssuke heard the words Gaara spoke as she absently nodded her head. Her body had relaxed after, knowing Gaara he never was one to go back on his word...but what if he got hurt somehow? She wasn't sure if she could forgive herself for that...
Looking back up at Gaara after taking a calming breath so he couldn't see how unsettled she was (though knowing Gaara he'll still be able to tell. lol)
'Gaara...just so everythings not so confusing about this entire thing...i'll explain, but let's go inside first.'
