As soon as she felt the sand under her feet, Willow took of, sticking closer to the wet sand for a better grip on running. She laughed as she ran, knowing full well that Mordy was probably right there.

As soon as he also hit the sand, Mordecai kicked ouff his boots, and shook off his jacket as he ran, to reduce drag. And it was rather hot, no need for a leather trench.
He gained ground fairly quickly, though he had to admit Willow was quite the runner, and when he caught up to her, gently grabbed her by the waist and lifted her over his head.
"Gotcha!"

Willow made a surprised noise as she felt someone picked her, up. Though it took her a few minutes to realize that it was Mordy. She lightly slapped his hand before speaking.
'Holyshit Mordy, how the hell did you get so fast.'

Mordecai spun Willow around to face him, and pulled her in close.
"Well, I have really long strides, and I'm in excellent physical condition," He said, smiling. Modesty? Bah. "So I'm pretty quick. But I have to say, so are you. Then again, I had motivation. I must get some kind of reward for catching you, musn't I?" He asked, still smiling. He didn't mean it in a dirty way, as that would breach the 'Asshole', barrier.

She let a smile appear on ger face as held her close.

Well, he was serious, but that didn't mean that he wasn't trying to make it funny at the same time.

Willow grinned slightly, she couldn't help but reward him. He was just too adorable when he was like that.
'Alright you get your reward.'
After a soft laugh she planted a soft quick kiss on his lips. A small fit of giggles followed after.
'Did you like your reward?'

"It was well worth the effort." Mordecai said. He looked out to the waters. They were quite peaceful.
An idea came to mind, not a bad one either. The seas were calm, he knew of no sharks in these waters.
"I feel like swimming. What say you, milady?" He asked, grinning.

Willow smirked as she stood.
'She says...last one in is a rotten egg'
With that she ran to the water, kicking her shoes off as she ran.

Mordecai smiled, quickly offing his shirt, harness, and pants (he's wearing boxers, everyone, calm down. It's just a lot easier and more comfortable to swim without a pair of JEANs on lol), and ran after Willow into the waves, being the rotten egg in this case, but catching up fairly quickly. He looked at her wet clothes, not a single inappropriate thought going through his mind.
"Aren't you uncomfortable swimming in all that?"

Willow thought for a second.
'Eh, not really. though it's better than being cold.'
She chuckled softly as she continued to go further out. The waves didn't really bother her much, mainly because she loved the water.

Mordecai shrugged, and dove into the water. He looked around. It was hard to see anything, even with the powerful moonlight. He could see Willow's legs, though, and was momentarily tempted to grab her by the ankles and pull her under, but, even though he felt sure she would have laughed after the initial shock, it was just a little too mean. Instead, he swam around, and popped up in front of her.
"Water's fine, Will. Hmm. I actually like that nickname. I think I'll call you that from now on." He said, with a grin.

'Only if i get to call you Mor Mor.'
She laughed softly as she allowed herself to start floating on her back, occasionally poking Mordy's abs. (XD had too)

"I suppose that's fair." Mordecai said, smiling, and lying in the waves next to Willow. He looked over at her, for a moment, before he looped an arm under her and rolled her onto him, laughing.
"Allow me to be your personal raft."

Willow was shocked. She had been laying on her back floating and then the next thing she knew she was laying ontop of Mordy. She couldn't even form words to come from her throat. All she could do was have a surprised look on her face, along with a slight blush, and blink everynow and then.
