Gaara closed one eye, and placed two fingers over it. A small amount of the sand started swirling in the air, and began forming into an eye. After the connection was made, the eye inconspicuously made its way to the other side of the cave. It searched every crevice, and finally spotted a lone figure hiding in the darkness. In a moment the eye dissipated, and Gaara opened his eye. He said nothing; he didn't want to worry Dasuke. If this man truly wanted a fight, he would get one. As long as he was given enough time for him to make his sand, he was confident he would win.

Dasuke smirked a bit as she playfully poked his arm just to see what he would do. Though at the same time she was trying not to make any sounds like laughing or any of that.
The hidden male continued watching them before finally seem as if he was leaving, all the while not passing the two. He would need to leave now and come up with a plan later so that way he wouldn't be making any rash decisions... Unless they both had a power he didn't know about...

Gaara smiled, trying to look as carefree as possible. He didn't want Dasuke to worry. Besides, it seemed as if the man was leaving. This was good news to him; even if the man came back later, it would give him more time to prepare his sand.

The male smirked as he stood over the roof of the cavern, he could see the two down below.
'Perfect....they'll never suspect any one to attack them, especially not from above...well atleast the girl shouldn't... That guy on the other hand need to be rid of...
He nodded his head down below at the massive amount of guys nodded. Thenplan was that only a few would go in, and everytime one was killed two would take his place. Hopefully after awhile they would be able to overpower the two and the malecould take what he wanted.
Dasuke stopped moving as she listened carefully, she could have sworn that she had heard a few small pieces of rock break off of somewhere and fall onto the ground...
"Gaara....do you hear anything...."
She kept her voice low as she continued to listen, now sitting up...

Gaara swore under his breath. The man had come back much sooner than he expected, and worse still he had many more with him. How stupid had he been to bring Dasuke to a place like this? If they were in the open he would have limitless sand available to him, and he could bury all their attackers at once, but here... He had no choice left. "Dasuke..." he whispered, "Go back through the tunnel to the outside... I'll hold them back until you make it out, then I'll meet you out there." He knew he would be useless under water, so he'd have to keep them away while she was under water. When she reached the outside, he could break through the roof of the cavern and meet her on the outside.

Dasuke looked at Gaara as she saw the guys.
"Gaara i'm not leaving you....besides I have a better chance of holding them back anyway. I have more to work with.."
She stared stubbornly at him. There was more rocks than sand at the moment...and rocks were her element..
The male raised an eyebrow as he watched from up top...so now the two were arguing...and just as his men were closing in too...he just might have a chance to grab the girl...now if only he could find the entrance of the cave he could surprise her and get her and at the same time have something to use against the red haired male.... Oh this as working pretty well...
(Ha!!!! More like if Dasuke is under prisoner Gaara will throw major woopin on that guy XD)

Gaara sighed, he could tell he wasn't going to be able to talk her out of it. "If you move the rocks, there's no telling what it will do to the cave... If it collapses, we'll all die." They had to get back into the open. With the sand that he had, maybe he could... "I have an idea," he said. He wrapped his arms around Dasuke so they took up the least amount of space possible, and then formed a thin, spiked wall of sand around them. The sand formed under their feet so that he could lift them through the air. If his plan worked, they could break through the roof and be out in the open where they could both fight to their full potential. (just as a random side note, he doesn't have a shirt on XD)  |

Dasuke blushed slightly when Gaara wrapped his arms around, still not exactly used to him being shirtless.. Though she noticed that there wasn't exactly a hole above their head...she couldn't risk making one...not when the roof of the cavern might collapse...and the sand he had was already in use...
"Gaara how exactly are we gonna get through the ceiling...whitout possibly causing the roof to cave in..."
Hearing something just barely, the male turned back to face where the cavern roof was. This was odd...what could possibly even been making that nLise he had no idea whatsoever.

Gaara smiled in the darkness, "It's rock, isn't it? If you make a whole as we're going through, even if it collapses we'll already be outside." If they could just manage to get into the outside air, everything would be fine. Gaara was sure of this.

Dasuke could almost tell he had a smile on his face. Nodding she glanced over her shoulder back at him.
"Just let me know when we are at the top...I don't want to risk it collapsingon us...rock is harder to control when it's falling through the air..."
Other than when she was answering him, Dasuke stayed relatively quiet.
Yes, he had definitely heard something...it was only a matter of where or when they would appear. Looking back t the large group of men he nodded for the to keep his distance, that way if something were to happen, they'd still be there to attack...

"When I say go, I'll launch us through. It'll have to be then; I plan on making us go through before they even notice we've moved." Gaara's voice was low as he spoke. Suddenly he realized how close he was to Dasuke, but he quickly redirected his thoughts. Now definitely wasn't the time to be distracted.

Dasuke nodded, trying to focus on having the timing down...reacting as soon as he would say go...
"Alright. Though with how quick it'll have to be. We'll more than likely cave in the cavern."
She glanced up at the ceiling, taking a steady breath to focus on the task she had ahead.
The male backed a few more steps away, getting as far away from the sound as he could...it was a good thing the cavern was huge so by the time he was standing with his men, they were a good ten feet from the edge of where the cavern stopped.

Gaara closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He had to trust in himself and Dasuke to pull this off.
"Go!"
They shot upwards toward the ceiling.

Dasuke immediately forced the ceiling of the cavern to create a hole twice the size needed for them to get through, a good four feet in diameter was good enough. Of course since the piece of rocked the had been where the hole was had been shoved away, it flew through the air and landed....right next to the male and his men.... Unfortunately not killing anyone.
"...ok so it was bigger then what it had---seriously....it didn't hit them?!...man should have been just a bit more to the right and we wouldn't of had as much to attack...."
The male hadn't moved when the solid piece of rock ha landed next to him. Instead he used his lightning based power to shatter. His face held nothing, he had a feeling he would have the upper hand in the fight. As long as he stayed away from large sandy areas...

As soon as they were through the opening, Gaara lowered them carefully to the ground. He glanced around quickly, then grabbed his gourd that was left lying by the pond. There wasn't as much sand as he liked here, but there was a little more by the pond that he could send into the ground along with the sand he'd made from the cavern, and soon enough he would have a formidable amount. Not to mention, the sand in his gourd was harder than any other sand, and he had the most control over it. He was much more confident now than he had been in the cavern.
