Keisha nodded as she followed him, her eyes watching the Bear cubs a bit sadly.
"I understand what you mean, maybe we can take care of them until they can fend for themselves... we owe them that much for taking away their mother..."

Ryuu nodded, "Yeah. I'm not entirely sure how that would work out, but I at least need to try." He knelt down next to them and stroked their silky heads with one finger, "Daijobu, kokuma-chan..." One of the cubs opened it's eyes and yawned, then looked up at him. Ryuu couldn't help but smile at how cute it was, and it was so trusting and fragile... He rose to his feet, "I'm gonna need something to feed them... I think they still need milk, so I need to go to town and get a bottle." He glanced back at the two of them, now both up and stretching. "I wonder if we should bring them with us... It makes me nervous to leave them here unprotected..."
(Daijobu= it's okay, you're okay, I'm okay, etc, depending on situation
kuma=bear
ko=prefix for any baby animal
chan=suffix showing endearment, something thats cute, etc)

Keisha smiled warmly at him.
"Ryuu, i can stay with the cubs. while you head into town... if it wasn't for the fact that you said your injuries are fine.. i'd go instead..."

"Okay, thanks," Ryuu said with a bright smile. He turned and jogged as best he could, trying to show that he was fine. He reached the town quickly, and first headed for the hospital. The building was huge, and easy enough to find, but fairly empty. He was shown to a room right away.
Ryuu sat down on the white bed and pulled off his shirt. The doctor took a good look at it and gasped, "Where the hell did you get a wound like that?"
"I was attacked by a bear..." He answered.
"And you still walked all the way here? You shouldn't be moving with a that kind of wound! Just by walking it's reopened, and if you had gotten here much later, you could've died from bloodloss!"
"I know."
At Ryuu's blatant statement, the doctor fell silent. Then he quickly cleaned and stitched the wound. "You know this is gonna leave a hell of a scar, right?"
"Yeah."
Ryuu ran out of the hospital, ignoring the protests of the doctor. He knew he shouldn't run, but he was careful not to tear the stitches. He was in a rush; he had wasted enough time in the hospital. He had to get what he had come for and get back to Keisha. He couldn't tell her he'd gone to a hospital, since he hadn't let her know how bad the wound really was. He didn't even plan to tell her it needed stitches. That would just be something else for her to worry about.
Ryuu returned to the den, looking pale and sweating much more than he should have been after such a short jog. He held a large can of powdered formula in one arm, and a jug of water and two baby bottles in the other. "I think this will work."
(I just realized I didn't clarify what the doctor was "protesting," about. No, Ryuu didn't cheat the guy, he still paid. The doctor was yelling after him because he shouldn't be running just after getting a wound like that stitched.)

Keisha had been able to find a soft place to sit, as she attempted to get the cubs to come close to her. Eventually she had been able to get one of them to get closer to her as she gave it a gentle scratch on its head, even playing carefully with the cub. However, when she saw what condition Ryuu was in when he returned she rushed to his side, both of the cubs actually following her.
"Ryuu! Look at you, go sit down and rest please... i'll take care of the Cubs for now..." She held worry in her eyes. If he was sweating and looking pale after a light jog then something was definitely wrong with him... he would need all the rest he could get..

"Really, I'm fine," Ryuu said as he straightened his back, but he still complied. He handed her his armload, and sat against a tree carefully. He sat up quickly as he felt a sharp stab of pain from putting weight on his wound, but let none of it show on his face. "Do you think we should take them with us? I don't think we can stay here all the time, and I'm worried about what would happen if we leave them alone..."

Keisha smiled lightly as she took his armload, setting up both bottles of milk.
"Of Course we can bring them with us... it's the only real way to keep them same."
She handed him a bottle as one of the cubs settled near him quietly while the other greedily drank from the bottle Keisha was holding...

Ryuu gazed down at the cub near him, who looked confused and scared. He gently pulled it onto his lap, and stroked it softly behind the ears. "Don't worry, little guy, Tou-san will protect you..." Then he beamed up at Keisha, "Who would've thought I'd have kids this young?" he said, chuckling. He offered the animal the bottle he was holding, and first it sniffed it warily, then, deciding it was safe, went to work filling its stomach.
Ryuu watched it with a smile, but his expression saddened as he became lost in thought. "Gomen, little guy..."
(Tou-san means daddy XD and gomen is pretty much like sorry)

Keisha returned the soft sad smile at Ryuu as she too watched her cub continue to finish his meal.
"You're right, i don't think anyone would have ever thought of that.."
