The water bubbled as it washed away the buildup of his natural defenses. He closed his eyes and felt the bitter cold bite through his pelt. This place was good...

He stepped back onto the shore and shook his coat dry, and slowly acid began to reform over it. It seeped over his body, not harming a single hair but threatening death to whoever touched him. But that was fine for him, he'd rather no one touched him anyway.

This land was now his, and would always remain so. He would always remain, never fade just as the scars that now burned into the land.
