Keisha sighed as she walked through the woods,today had been a long day and all she wanted to do now was just find a nice quiet place to work on her archery.Keisha reached a nice quiet meadow-like area.Setting herself up in her archery form,Keisha put her hair up in a ponytail before picking up her bow and arrows.When the arrow was fitted on the bow,she pulled it back as far as she could.The string made a loud THWACK!,hitting the tree quickly and effiecently.Footsteps behind her made Keisha turn.

Ryuu saw the girl suddenly, his expression changed to one of surprise, and then respect. "Hey," he said lightly, "You're pretty good at that." He hadn't expected to see anyone in this area, but maybe he needed to talk to someone else today; his seclusion from other humans was taking it's toll on him.

Keisha looked at her bow shyly.'thanks,i guess i am.' Keisha looked up at him,he looked pretty cute and he seemed sweet.Shy,but sweet,Keisha gave him a small smile before she introduced herself.'oh sorry, my bad.I'm Keisha.it's nice to meer you...' she didn't want to seem rude,but it seemed to late for that

Ryuu moved a whisp of hair from his face, "I'm Ryuu." He gave an embarrassed smile, he definitely wasn't the best when it came to talking to people. "So what are you doing in a place like this?" he asked, glancing around.

"Same here," he said quietly, "this place is the only place I can come to when I want to think." He had been coming here for as long as he could remember, training with his dagger and just relaxing in the peace and quiet. "It's almost like a second home to me." He watched a bird take off and fly away, and smiled.

'Yea,i don't see who wouldn't want to be here..'Keisha watched the bird fly off,she took a step backwards;her arm just barely touched his.She pressed her arm closer to herself,shyly looking down.'sorry about'She wasn't sure about how he would react to that.She liked him but she couldn't tell how he felt about her.

Ryuu took a small step back, a sheepish look on his face. "It's okay." He stared at the ground, knowing he was acting awkwardly but not knowing how he was supposed to act. A small smile lit his face. "Since you were target practicing, mind if I join in?" he asked, sliding his knife out of his sleeve. This was the one thing he was comfortable doing, and he felt it might fill the uncomfortable gap between them.

Keisha gave him a smile.'i don't see why not,i've wanted a bit of distance competition' she grinned.'wanna start at 20 feet away and with every bullseye we go back ten?'She gave him another smile,she wanted him to stick around.Maybe they'd walk home together,who knew? Anything seemed possible nowadays.

Ryuu's smile turned into a huge grin, "Sounds good to me." He had been practicing since he was little, for nothing more than something to do. And he wasn't bad at it either.

Keisha grinned back at him,she could tell he'd been doing this for awhile.'ok shall i start first or do you want to?' Either way she'd be happy,his talent with a knife.Keisha picked up her bow,swinging the quiver filled with arrow onto her shoulder.

Ryuu thought for a minute, "Well, I think you can count your shot a minute ago as your turn, you think?" he said lightly, indicating the arrow still buried in the tree.

He chuckled, "Guess I got you beat then. I've had this knife ever since I can remember, so I've been throwing it since I was about seven, I think." He slid into a solid stance, tossing the knife up and catching it by the tip. "I'll have to get it every time I throw it though, I only have one," he said, glancing at her quiver full of arrows. He brought his arm up and lightly tossed the knife. It artfully flew through the air, flipping perfectly, coming to a gentle stop in the tree. He grinned, a bulls-eye.

Keisha stared in awe as Ryuu took his turn.'wow, your really good, i'm still working on perfecting my stance and technique with my bow.' Keisha waited while Ryuu got his knife back.When he was un the safe zone Keisha took her spot.Quickly loading an arrow she aimed,holding the arrow for a few seconds she finally let it go.It made a loud THWACK sound as she smiled,'bullseye' She retrieved her arrow before smiling at Ryuu.'your turn'
