Amaya walked slowly into the land, hanging his head with regret and pain. He had felt so alone lately, all he wanted now was someone, anyone, to come and ease his loneliness. He didn't care who or what, he just wanted to know someone out there cared about his existence...

GastaA young black mare stood alone, regarding the vast, barren landscape before her in awe. Her ebony mane and tail rippled slightly with the faint breeze; their orange and red highlights where emphasized still more against her black coat and beautiful, compassionate, yet still rather naive green eyes. It was through these eyes that she spotted the stallion. He looked depressed. Gasta wanted to go and cheer him up, but Sotir had told her to be wary of strangers, and to keep away from them if he was not around. Hell, when was he ever not around, lurking in the shadows, watching her? With that rebellious streak in her system, the young mare shifted forwards into a light, smooth trot towards the stallion, letting out a low whinny in greeting. Unbeknownst to her were the potential dangers of approaching strange stallions.

A shadow with solid red eyes looked at Amaya, “He is perfect.” It said and stepped forward a man with a robe stepped out.

Amaya heard the whinny and turned his dull eyes around to see who it was. He smiled when he saw the young mare approaching, but he suddenly sensed something that didn't seem right. His ears went back, "Stay back!" he called to the other horse.

Gasta halted, lifting a foreleg slightly as she looked around, nostrils flaring. She, too, sensed something... Off.
She blew through her nostrils uneasily, but did not spot the man at first. When she did, however, she tensed, her forest-green eyes wary of this red-eyed stranger.
It was times like these that she really wished Sotir hadn't decided to leave her alone for a few hours.

“Oh, not to worry, I won’t hurt you…I am just here to find some one, well two people that is. A horse and a human.” Said the man who stepped further from the shadows his black her was spikeish and he had a ton of piercing and tattoos. His skin was a paper white color.

The man sent shivers up his spine... He didn't trust him. But then again, he didn't trust anybody. "So what do you want with me then?"

“Perhaps you know where they are?” His solid red eyes stared at the stallion no emotion except for a twisted grin on his face. He stepped forward and walked around the stallion. “Nice form, how long do you work out?” He asked and stopped in front of the stallion.

Amaya watched the man warily, what exactly was he after? "I don't know where they are," he answered simply, "And you don't need to know how I train." He tried to disclose as little as possible without arousing suspicion, he had to get out of this situation, all his warning signals were going off in his head. Something's not right with this guy.

“Ahh, but surely you showed know a Dark Rebellion?” He raised one eyebrow, and stared in to the stallion’s eyes. He narrowed his slightly.

"The name doesn't ring a bell," he replied cooly. In truth, he really didn't know that horse, but he didn't feel like disclosing anything, even a negative response. The less this man knew about him, the better.

Gasta wanted to run, to move, to do something, but her legs were frozen in place.
She knew Dark Rebellion. Sotir and herself had seen him with two humans just hours before.
What did this human want with them?
Gasta was overcome; irrational fear had her in its grip, and now she couldn't move no matter how much she wanted to. And unlike Amaya, she'd never been a good liar...
And suddenly, she wasn't standing in the open any more.
She was surrounded by darkness -so dark she couldn't see - with the cool sensations of shadows wrapped around her small form, pulling her deeper into the seemingly black abyss.
She couldn't even open her mouth to scream.
There was a quiet sigh behind her, and she felt someone's breath, very light and cold, against the nape of her neck.
The darkness shifted, then lifted, and she gazed around in wonder.
She could still see Amaya and the human who had frightened her so, but now they were a lot smaller; miles away, rather than metres. She currently stood in the sparse shade of a lone sycamore.
Sotir was behind her, his intense amber eyes dark as he gazed at the pair in the distance. Though he stood easily, unwaveringly, his sides were heaving from exerting so much energy in transporting his sister over such a distance.
He was just four years old, after all.
Such a task could have killed him; it would have killed many others his age, if they had attempted it.
"Nii-san..."
Upon the shocked whisper leaving her lips he turned his head to look at her, his eyes blazing with anger. The unspoken command for her to stay silent was overwhelming.
She'd strayed too close to the jaws of danger, and this time Sotir would have to pay the price.
