(lol, u'd think that earth wouldn't affect water that much, but in the Naruto chakra element map, it says that wind is better than lightning, which is better than earth, which is better than water, which is better than fire, which is better than wind lol)
Kenichi watched Mordy with interest. He had seemed to come out on top from everything Kenichi attempted at him, whether it be long distance or close combat. He just had to try something different. He landed on the ground behind Mordy neatly, and almost instantly his body split into hundreds of forms of himself. How would his opponent defend against attacks from all directions? Each one brandished a guillotine sword, and each rushed at Mordy eagerly from every direction, even some from the air.
(I definitely think after the fight, they should recognize each other's strengths and become pals lol=p)

(LOL definitely)
Mordecai looked around. "Damn." He uttered, before settling into a combat stance, settling into a zen state of no-thought, before he began to swing left and right, parrying swings with amazing speed and skill, occasionally managing to get through and kill one of the clones. He shelled off elements into the crowd, sending lightning arcing through groups, freezing others, shredding some with wind currents, and reducing some others to steam with high intensity flames. He was getting knicked left and right, but he never quite let any get all the way through his guard. As they began to press in too much, he twisted gravity around himself, blowing them all back. He dropped, panting, to one knee, before standing again.
He'd gotten dozens, but there were still dozens more.
Raising his blade again, he called out, "Come on, then. Let's do it!", Despite the fact that he was rather well cut up. They were minor knicks, he'd heal fine.
(I hope that doesn't count as power-playing, but I'm fighting clones, so I'm not too worried.)

Kenichi's sealing move was all planned out; he just had to execute it without any mistakes. He could see that Mordy was slowly growing tired, and he had to time his move carefully. Another group of clones jumped Mordy from all directions, and while he was preoccupied, a hand suddenly appeared from the dirt underneath Mordy, going for his ankle. Kenichi could attack from every direction, even below...
(duhn, duhn, DUHN!!!!!!!!! lol, i have fun doing that)

Mordecai, stomped violently on the hand with his free foot, fighting viciously against the clones, getting knicked more and more as he got more fatigued. He wondered where the real Kenichi was, as he surely wasn't in with this mob. Banishing the thought so as to keep from getting distracted, he continued fighting.

Kenichi watched with amazement as one after one Mordy eliminated his clones. He was definitely strong, and the clones were slowly starting to diminish. Kenichi panted heavily; this fight was taking it's toll on him too. But he would never give up, he would never get anywhere like that. Pushing himself to the brink of death was the only way to get stronger. He had no energy left to use any more of his water techniques, so he'd have to do this himself. As the last clone vanished, he jumped from the tree toward Mordy, his sword held horizontally in front of him to cut whatever he came into contact with.

Mordecai dropped again to one knee, turning just in time to block Kenichi's attack. He was exhausted, but he wouldn't stop fighting. As their swords met with a thunderous clang, he looked at Kenichi with a warrior's fire in his eyes.
"This... This is most interesting... You're the first oppenent to give me a challenge in a long time... This is great!" He panted, giving a slight laugh at the end, and forcing himself to his feet.

Kenichi gave a small laugh between his gasps for breath, he hadn't had this much fun in too long either. Then he threw away all defense and came at Mordy with everything he had left, pushing himself to his limits. The huge sword sliced through the air with much less precision then it had before, but still with power and speed. The rain refreshed his energy slightly, but not enough to make a difference. He had to face the facts, his body couldn't keep this up much longer.

Mordecai again managed to block the attack, but the force behind it coupled with his exhaustion caused his knees to nearly buckle, almost dropping him to his knee again, as well as nearly causing him to drop his Claymore. He swung viciously with his blade, letting it leave his hands as he lunged at his opponent. The blade flew towards Kenichi's torso, as Mordecai threw himself at his abdomen.

Kenichi quickly forced his own blade in front of him, and Mordy's claymore clanged off of it, but the force knocked the sword from his own hands. Both swords fell to the ground, and Kenichi met Mordy head on, this time forgetting about his weapon.
(wooo, a grappling match!!!!!! bring out the popcorn!!!!)

(IDK how strong Kenichi is, but I can tell you Mordy's got some rediculous brute force to use lol)
Mordecai lunged forward, locking his palms with Kenichi. He applied all the force he still could into his arms, trying with all his might to unbalance his opponent so as to gain the upper hand.

(well, hes strong enough 2 use his insane sword with intense speed, plus its raining and he still has some tricks up his sleeve, maybe...)
Kenichi could feel himself being pushed back, so he suddenly liquidized his body, reforming behind Mordy. Then he grabbed onto him from behind, using his weight as an advantage to try to force him down. (Thank you Orochimaru, because he did experiments on Suigetsu, he can do the water thing without using a jutsu, it just happens naturally. so Kenichi doesn't need any energy to liquidize himself)

(I actually don't know who's stronger, then, lol. As seen in the Halo Legends Episode, Spartans are strong enough to throw a 1500 lb. pod a good 50 feet, however I imagine that the executioner sword has to weigh like 200 lbs. Considering the fidelity with which he evidently wields it, I don't know.)
Mordecai felt himself about to go down, and, with little other option considering the limited time available to act, kicked off, trying to leap out of the hold. Or take Kenichi into the air with him, if need be.

Kenichi felt his body shoot into the air with Mordy, and his grip started to weaken. He let go and landed on the ground, ready to attack again. Then Ryuu stepped forward. "Do you guys really need to go on? It looks like you're both ready to collapse, so what's the point?"

Mordecai landed shakily, only just manging to stay on his feet, a couple feet away. He turned, and looked at Ryuu. He shrugged.
"I suppose you're right, but, well... The way I usually spar, I couldn't really let it go. I normally keep going until there's a victor." He said, panting.

"And that victor's gonna be me!" said Kenichi confidently through gasps for breath.
"Come on, just look at yourself," Ryuu said irritably, "You guys are gonna kill each other at this rate, and what if you were attacked? If you wear yourself out this much, you'd stand no chance against a real enemy!"
"Shut up!" Kenichi growled, "Don't forget who won in our fight."
Ryuu sighed, "I don't remember our fight ever having been concluded..."
Kenichi turned to look at Gaara, who was still watching him with amused eyes. He shivered, "I see your point though, that guy gives me the creeps... If he were to attack us now, we'd stand no chance. What do you say we settle the score later?" Though it was killing him to ask to call the fight off, this guy was truly the only one he had ever met that he could call his equal.
