A few more males surrounded Trinity's mother as she took out another sword, if there was anything that Dasuke's family could do best, it was sword fighting. They may not have the biggest sword but each of their blows were packed with power. The entire group broke off into three. With atleast thirty surrounding Mordy and Leon though with Gaara's ability they thought it best to have forty surrounding him. Every person had each others back. "We'll ask once again....hand Dasuke over and we won't attack." Jourdan roused from being knocked out. Seeing the fighting he cursed before joining in. It didn't hurt him any emotionally that he was killing friends or family, he'd promised Dasuke that he'd have her back all those years ago and he'd be damned if he would go back on that. "Dammit, why do I always miss the beginning of the fights." Looking over at Gaara he frowned slightly. "Gaara! Where's my cousin?" He never skipped a beat as he mercilessly attack people he knew but no longer cared for, forghey threatened his cousin, andthat by his standards was enough to be killed for.

"She's safe... That's all that matters. And if you think I'll hand her over, than you're more insane than I thought!" He raised up both arms, and spears of hardened sand shot from the earth, tearing through countless enemies on their skyward path. After they were far above, Gaara twisted his hands and they quickly formed into daggers, then began raining back down to the ground.

Leon flourished the Crimson Nightmare momentarily, before snapping his arm forward, loosing the blade off into the crowd with vicious force, the massive weapon like a giant sawblade scything through the crowd, before stopping, lodged in the trunk of a tree, having been decelerated by eleven foes and three good sized Yellow Cedars.
Leon, meanwhile, flicked his left wrist, the foot long concealed blade springing into position, whilst he drew his longsword with his free hand and tore through opponents, blocking attacks with the long sword, and driving the hidden blade, often, up through their skulls, into the eye, or through the heart.
Mordecai allowed his portion to group around him, rushing, before he leapt into the air, throwing his sword down at the crowd. The blade had the whole of the gravitational and immolative rings charged into it, resulting in a decent explosion at point of impact, before he himself landed, drawing the sword and attacking the remaining foes with a couple arcing lightning bursts from his fingertips.

Jourdan nodded to Gaara as he continued fighting his friend Aniko. "Jourdan...why aren't you fighting with us?" "Aniko I cannot fight with you guys, ever again... Right now you all are threatening people my cousin knows and are close too and as long as that is so, I will never choose those that hurt her...ever." Aniko shook his head, he too had once hung out and trained with Jourdan and Dasuke...but after hearing that she had killed her parents...he knew that for their family it was like treason and so he had been asked to help get her back so she could face a harsh punishment. However it seemed as if that wouldn't be happening. Jourdan refuse to allow his once close friend to cause his guard to drop. Looking up at Aniko he spoke his last words to him as he dealt the final blow "I wish you wouldn't have turned your back to me...." Meanwhile even more people closed in around Gaara as the ones from before died. "Boy, you're just going to get hurt...all you have to do to end this is hand Dasuke over and we all draw back. This is you're scone warning before we call the rest of our army in." Jourdan felt a warm liquid start to roll down his back and arm before he realized that behind him was his father...the one man who was probably stronger than him. Even so he whipped around as his father and him engaged in a one on one sword fight. Neither male was giving an inch or allowing the other person to get any closer than arms length.

Gaara's face was turned to the ground, almost as if he had given up. But then he raised his face, the bloodlust raging in his eyes. "You don't get it, do you?" he said as a spear launched it's way through the crowd. "I have no worry about what happens to myself, your words are nothing but cries on deaf ears!" Sand swirled through his hand, forming a long blade. Then he set into the people around him, slicing off limbs, heads, cutting through entire bodies, anything that was in his reach. As the smell of blood reached him, he was completely overcome. The sand began to envelop his body as the shukaku took control once more. After the transformation was complete, he appeared behind another enemy and grabbed his body with his claws. In one swift movement, he tore him in half, laughing as the blood splashed over him. "You think I'm going to get hurt? You're going to die!" he screamed and he launched himself through the crowd, crushing as many people as he could with his claws.

Leon walked toward the remaining member of his challengers, and tripped him, before stomping on his skull, which was reduced to an unpleasant paste.
Mordecai, meanwhile, was locked in a 'duel' with his remaining four opponents. He ducked a swing, running through the assailant, nad pulled it out with a spin, cleaving the legs of another target off, before impaling him as well. He then sidestepped a downward cleave, and cleanly slit the throat of the attacker, and then, finally, slapped away the blade arm of the final opponent, and ran him through, as well, before letting him drop to the ground. He and Leon looked at one another, then at Gaara.
They thought the same exact thing.
He'll be fine with those that are left. Besides, it's probably best he gets as much of his rage as possible out.

Jourdan and his father continued their fight, Jourdan trying with most of what he knew and had to not be cornered by his father. That would be all it took to end his life...Once his father got him cornered it would only take one blow to kill him and then he would had tried to hold his father off for nothing. "You're not going to get past me...father, I won't allow it!" His father chuckled darkly, not even caring for those that where being brutally killed around him. "You really think you can beat me Jourdan? Your sister is stronger than you and that pathetic excuse of a cousin you have! There's no way you could even dream of holding me back!" A few minutes later and Jourdan had a few more cuts on him, whilist his father only had two, one on his side shouder and one on his cheek. A few braver people in the giant group that was attempting to take Gaara down spoke up. "Look! he's a Demon! Kill him! Once he's gone we can find out where he hid Dasuke and she can recieve her sentence!" It seemed that no matter how much the red head had threatened them, they still wouldn't back down.

Gaara laughed insanely, "A demon? I suppose so." He spun around and clawed the speaker's face, tearing it clean off. Then he grasped another's head and forced him through a tree. He hated to admit it, but he was... enjoying himself. Staying with Dasuke had made him happy, but all it had done was suppress his true nature. He still took pleasure in taking the life of others. As long as he channeled it like this, he knew he could stop himself from hurting her, but he was still unsure of it all... Would Dasuke still want him around when she saw his bloodied hands? His thoughts were broken as more men circled him. They're numbers seemed endless... But he wouldn't give up. He threw himself into their masses, laughing wickedly as he slew more and more of them.

More opponents appeared, though these were evidently the last, due to how few of them there were. Ten went to Gaara, and five each to Leon and Mordecai. Mordy snapped his fingers, loosing the last of the flame ring, causing the five to violently ignite, whilst Leon 'twitched', and appeared behind his opponents, who fell to pieces.
Leon looked over his shoulder, seeing Jourdan in a loosing battle, and started marching toward the two, whilst Mordy narrowly managed to sidestep the swing of a Bastard Sword from behind, turning to face the attacker. He was a tall bearded man, with a confident look about him. Mordy laughed, and threw himself at his opponent, who was able to, barely, but still able, block the swings, but he was being very quickly beaten back.

As Dasuke laid in the protection of the sand fifty feet underground, she wondered what all was going on on the surface...hopefully none of them got hurt, she knew her family would try to obtain her from Gaara, hopefully her family/friends wouldn't overwhelm them...
Jourdan silently cursed under his breath as he felt his back hit a tree, this was exactly what he was trying to avoid, he knew it probably would be much longer until his father would deliver the final blow. He could tell that Gaara was doing just fine on his own and Mordy looked like he was about to beat that final guy. Though when he saw Leon walking towards where his father and him where fighting he knew he could hang on just a little longer.

Ashe stared wide-eyed at the bloody massacre from behind the trees of the forest; she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was the man out there really Leon? The one who had been so kind and gentle to her was now crushing and slicing limbs, now destroying lives. Her breath came in rasps and her pulse quickened; had she been wrong about him? It was stupid of her to think she could ever find anyone she could be happy with, watching him now, it looked like killing was his second nature. She fell to her knees, clutching her stomach, and vomited. (Okay, I know that sounds dramatic, but think of how bloody the area probly is now) Gaara swung his arm and launched bullets of sand through his remaining assailants, then turned and scanned the area. She was somewhere... but where? Finally he found the one he was looking for, Dasuke's aunt. He charged forward, his eyes glowing red. She would pay for what she did to Dasuke. Ashe lay on the ground, curled in a tight ball as a cold sweat overcame her. The whole area was saturated in the scent of blood, and finally it was too much for her to take. She remembered the feeling of loneliness she had felt when Leon left, even if it would only be for a short time, but she welcomed that feeling now. Why had she followed him? If she had only waited for him to return, this wouldn't have happened. She finally lost grip of her consciousness and lay still.

Leon halted midstep, looking back. He saw Ashe, lying in the trees, and he didn't have to second guess what was wrong. Without any obvious motion, Jourdan's father found himself pinned to a rather large tree with several Shrike Knives, rendering him unable to move. It was up to Jourdan to finish the job.
Leon sprinted to Ashe's side, cradling her head in his arms. Mordy saw him run off, and immediately realised why. He turned, then, and socked Chuck square in the face, bringing him to the ground, where he was summarily executed.
Leon looked at Ashe, fear in his eyes of what seeing this might have done. He knew she was against death, against killing... And here he'd been, slaughtering scores of people. She'd likely been watching the whole time.
It was for a reason, and a good one at that, but was it right that he was doing this? Was it right for him to be with her, her hating death, and he being a maelstrom of annihilation. That's what it always seemed to come down to, was killing. And it was always he who was doing the killing.
He could say nothing. What was there to say?

Jourdan thanked Leon and with a simple thust of his Sword his father's eyes dimmed. Finally able to look around, Jourdan realizedthat the enter ground was basically covered in blood from the fight. Wiping his blade on his pants he looked to see how Gaara's finally would go. Trinity's mother whipped out a pair of twin blades as she waited for the boy to attack, she realized she was the last one to live and new she was way out matched, but because of her pride she wasn't going to go down without a fight. Getting into a defensive position she waited, for it was all she could do.

Gaara slammed one claw on the ground, forcing him into the air. As the soared over Trinity's mother, he spun around to look down at her and sent more sand bullets raining down. Then he connected his feet to a tree and shoved off, crushing the tree under the impact, and propelled himself towards her.
Ashe couldn't comprehend all the carnage; she was still breathing heavily when she opened her eyes. As soon as she saw Leon, she shoved him away and staggered to her feet. "Get away," she gasped, and turned her head. She couldn't think straight; she just wanted to get as far away from the blood as possible. Biting her lip, she tucked her head and started running.

Leon stood in place. He didn't know what to do. All he knew was that he couldn't leave her alone. Even if she didn't want him around, he would be there to watch over her, unseen unless it proved necessary. So, after a moment's hesitation, wondering if he was just going to make things worse yet again, he went after her, quickly and silently.
Mordecai shook his head. He hoped, he prayed, that they stayed together. It was plain to see they were as close to 'Meant to be' as possible. But he knew why Ashe was scared, angry... And ultimately, it came down to whether or not she could forgive Leon for doing what he had done, which was, when it came down to it: Sacrifice, or, rather, end the lives of nearly fourty men, to guarantee the survival of their friends, Dasuke and Gaara.
He shook his head again. Life never let you just do a good deed, or save a life, or even simply survive. There was always something equally bad. However, if you did something wrong, or something unfortunate happened to you, it was never balanced out by a random good occurance.
