Jourdan walked over to Mordy as he watched Leon chase after a girl. "Dang she saw the whole thing didn't she? That's harsh. Though now we just have to wait for Gaara to finish my mom off.... I'm tempted to just throw my sword and hit her...but I'd rather not be on the recieving end of the wrath of a very very pissed off Gaara. Geez Dasu... What the hell were you thinking?!" He finished the last part off softly.
Trin's Mom dodge a few of the sand bullets but a good part of them hit her causing scratches to appear all over her arms and legs. When she noticed that he had usd a tree to propel himself at her she crossed her swords and braced for the impact, though with how fast he seemed to be coming at her and at how tall and how much he weighed, she wouldn't be surprised if he knocked her down to the ground.

A sneer formed across Gaara's face seconds before he would hit her. He extended his claw in front of him, ready to crush her with it. But seconds before impact, he vanished. Instantly, he reappeared behind her and without warning attacked.
Ashe turned her head back to look behind her, she was sure Leon would try to follow her. But right now she wanted to be alone, she wanted to be as far away from him as possible. As she turned her head back to look where she was going, she smacked into something. She fell backwards with a thud, and looked up to see a huge, grim looking man standing in front of her. He looked down, just barely noticing her.
"Who-" Ashe started.
Yuudai smiled, his eyes deceiving, "And where would a pretty girl like you be running to?"

Leon stopped without a sound a few feet away, shrouded by the shadows of the trees. He watched, ready to spring forth at a moment's notice. He wasn't going to do anything until it was necessary, though. He didn't want to make things worse by popping out, sword drawn and acting like a hero. He was nothing of the sort. Never would be.
However, he was rather concerned, due to the comment made by the person Ashe had run into. So, he rested his hand on the hilt of the Nightmare, and poised himself to spring forward.
Mordecai, meanwhile, said nothing for a while.
"Let us all simply hope everone is alright after this is over."

Trin's Mom was just about to turn around to see where the boy went when she felt claws go into her back. Coughing up a bit of blood she spoke with a shaky voice. " You bastard! Why won't you die?" With that sh. Blindly swung both of her swords backwards as she prayed that she got a hit on him before she died. Jourdan's eyes widened slightly as he watched the scene infeont of him. "Mordy I pray that everything is, oh god do I wish everything is... Hopefully if Dasu doesn't remeber what happened no one tells her. Knowing her like I do she'll take it as a huge hit to her pride that Trin beat her...they were always like that." Anxious eyes watched the fight as it seemed to come to an end. "Mordy what will we do once this fight is over??? How will we calm Gaara down or should we let him be?"

Gaara laughed as the blades clanged off his hardened sand skin. "An eye for an eye, huh? You make Dasuke's life miserable, and I'll destroy yours," he said as he tightened his grip. He applied more and more pressure, and he could feel his claws sinking into her skin. Finally, her whole abdomen was crushed, and her severed torso landed on the ground next to her legs. Gaara licked the blood from his claw and turned to Jourdon. "I can calm myself down, " he said darkly, and the sand that covered him began to recede. After he was back to normal, he clapped his hands together. The sand around them began the shake, and it moved away like a whirlpool. Dasuke was raised from the ground, and he set her gently on the settled sand.
Ashe sat staring at the man with her mouth hanging open. She couldn't tell if he was going to hurt her or not. But his gaze shifted to behind her. "I know you're there," his voice rang out. He could read his surroundings better than anything else. He gripped the hilt of his sword, "I'm guessing you're what she was running from?" With that he unsheathed the huge blade and held it in front of him, stepping around Ashe to face Leon.

"In a way." Leon said, stepping forward. "I think the question that needs to be asked is should she be running away from you?" He snarled, unsheathing his blade as well. He made sure not to advance. He knew Ashe didn't want him near right now, and if the two fought, he didn't want her near the battle. His eyes gave a disturbing picture. There was a burning self hatred, mixed with sorrow, and a notable dislike of this newcomer.
Nice though he may be acting, Leon was an excellent judge of people, and could tell that he was currently in a standoff with a Grade- A Asshole.
Mordecai moved to where Gaara and Dasuke were.
"How badly hurt is she?"

Dasuke coughed slightly as she was settled gently on the ground, each cough pure agony as her broken ribs moved. She let out a shaky breath through slightly clenched teeth as she tried to ignore the pain. Her broken wrist was held at her side as her arm with the dislocated shoulder layer almost limply by her right side. The stinging in he back let her know that the slice from her left shoulderblade to her right hip was slightly deep. Her broken left ankle throbbed and yet still she refused to let out a cry of pain. Jourdan walked over to where Mordy and Gaara were as his cousin laid on the ground. " Holy shit...what the hell did my sister do to her?!" His voice was shaking slightly from anger that his sister could do so much damage, yet he was still worried abot Dasuke as he knelt next to her, his eyes scanning over her injuries.

Gaara squeezed his eyes shut when he saw Dasuke's condition. "Damn it all," he said through clenched teeth, "If only I had gotten here sooner..." He spun around and punched a tree, breaking a hole through the thick trunk.
Ashe's eyes narrowed, and she scowled at Leon. "He hasn't done anything... Are you going to kill him too, like all those other people?" Her voice had a sharp edge to it.
With his back to her, Yuudai spoke out. "I think I've heard enough. You obviously aren't the best person for her to be around." Then to Ashe he said, "How would you like to come with me?" Ashe missed the deluding grin he flashed at Leon. He was quite skilled with rhetoric; he kept the mocking tone from his voice easily.

"I killed them because they were threatening the lives of Gaara and Dasuke. Does that make it right? No. But I'm not a cold blooded killer." Leon said, quietly, almost more to convince himself than Ashe. He then looked back at Yuudai.
"Maybe I'm not, but there's no way in hell you're any better. You're just another person who acts like they care to get what they want, before they show their true colors. Like most people." He said, slowly, a disgusted tone in his voice.
"It's her choice if she goes with you, but know this: If- No, sorry, when- you hurt her, one way or another, I will hear about it, and I will find you." He snarled, sheathing his blade.
He stood there, then, still, and silent.
Mordecai's eyes widened. He said nothing, but immediately set to work doing what he could for the injuries. There was no better treatment short of an actual medical clinic.

Dasuke gritted her teeth but unclenched them to speak to Mordy. "Mordy...can you pop my shoulder back into place first?" She closed her eyes as the fight replayed in her head, she could have smacked herself for how many mistakes she had made, though none of them even added up to her worst mistake of all...she had broken her promise...and that was something she would never let herself for. She couldn't believe she had even broken her word to Gaara. Now all she could hope was that he would forgive her. She knew it might take awhile but she'd go through hell and back if that was the harsh road she would have to take to have him forgive her. Jourdan looked from his cousin and Gaara, sensing that something up because he could feel quite a lot of tension in the air. Deciding not to say anything about it he glanced back down at his cousin and noticed how she was tense... 'She's mentally beating herself up, I just know she is...there's no other real reason for her to be that tense and I know its not from the wounds, she never has showed when she was hurting unless it was a simple clenching of her jaw. -sigh- why does she have to be so stubborn and never ask for help? this could have been avoided this, hell i'd rather be dead right now than she her go through what my sister did.' Sighing in frustration he stood, leaving Mordy to his task. He wondered if he should confront Gaara about this but he didn't want to risk upsetting the red-head anymore than he already seemed to be. His cousin sure did seem to know how to do that to people, from what he could tell she'd have a long, possibly hard time explaining this to Gaara.

Ashe's expression was hidden. "Leon..." she said quietly, "Do us both a favor and just forget about me. I took care of myself before I met you, and there's no way I can't now."
Yuudai gave a wicked grin, then turned his hungry-looking eyes back to Ashe and followed her as she walked away, leaving Leon behind.
When Gaara heard Dasuke speak, he rushed to her side. He knelt to the ground beside her, his face anxious. "I'm sorry," he murmured, "I broke my promise... I said I'd always be there to protect you, but..." He trailed off. He gave her some room for Mordy to help her, but stayed watchful, ready to help in any way possible.

Leon turned away, and kept his voice even. "If that's what you really want, then that's what will happen." He said, and walked away, slowly. Mordecai wasn't in anyway psychic, but even he could feel the rage and hatred and sorrow emenating from Leon when he appeared at the edge of the clearing. It scared him. Leon 'flashed' across the clearing, and grabbed a package from the ground. He disappeared, for a moment, behind a tree, emerging in a different outfit. Or, rather, different colored. Same tailoring. He also appeared to have another of the hidden blades on his other wrist. He walked past Mordecai, giving him a pat on the shoulder, and speaking so only he could hear. "This is, more than likely, the last time you will see me, one way or another. Please, do something with these clothes." He added, and dropped the bloodstained white outfit next to him. Then, he spoke to everyone. "Stay safe, my friends. I have to go." He kept his head forward, concealing his face. But, Mordecai, kneeling, could see. Leon's face was content. He seemed disturbingly calm, and in a way, he was. However, there were clean trails through the blood and dust on his face. They originated from his eyes. It wasn't too hard to figure out what they were. Mordecai turned back to his work with a grim expression. Things had gone from bad to worse. He did as Dasuke asked, and, after a few quick presses at the shoulder to check the reinsertion angle, he popped it back into place, before continuing. Leon was gone. Mentally, he was dead, serving but one purpose, protecting the one person who could bring him back from the brink of madness, the person who he had hurt, despite promises of protection. He vanished into the forests, staying close enough to Ashe and Yuudai to see them, though not to be noticed. After all, his eyes were literally as good as an eagle's. (The new outfit? )

Dasuke gritted her teeth, she would not allow her self to do any thing that would show how much she hurt right now. Though hopefully Jourdan wouldn't say a thing since he would know her signs to what she felt best. After moving her right shoulder ever so slightly she used it to push herself off barely an inch so she could turn her head and look at Gaara as she went back to laying still. "Gaara...it's not your fault...I broke my promise...I'm sorry.." Her voice faded as her eyes closed while she fell into unconsciousness. She hated the feeling of not knowing what was going on but was glad that for now she couldn't feel the pain. Jourdan heard his cousins soft words and looked at her just as she fell unconscious. Yes he definitely could tell she blamed herself, then again she always would, as long as she was involved when something bad happened she wouldn't let anyone take the blame but herself. It was one of her traits she had grown up with, though it magnified when her parents started the troubles... Oh God he really hoped nothing bad would come of this.

Gaara softly touched Dasuke's cheek and rested his head against her, being careful not to worsen her injuries. If only he had come sooner... He closed his eyes, listening to her breath. (Okay, that sounds kinda creepy, but he's just reassuring himself that she'll live lol)
Yuudai had seen the look in the man's eyes when they left; he had a feeling that he wouldn't give up just because the girl asked him to. He shot his energy into the ground and spread it into a recon network, quickly finding what he wanted to know. He could tell the man was hiding nearby, watching them, but he said nothing to Ashe.
If Leon would go to such lengths for her, Yuudai knew she must be very important to her, so a plan began to formulate in his head. He approached Ashe and touched her shoulder, causing her to stop and turn to face him. Then he pushed her up against a thick tree, using his body to pin her down, and pressed his lips forcefully to hers. At first Ashe tried to pull away, but finding it futile, her body relaxed and remained still.

With speed that was excessive, even by Leon's standard's (He's going all out, not restraining himself as he normally would for the sake of his body. He's not going faster than ever before, it's that he's doing it without technical reason. Running at a reasonable rate for him he would have gotten there but .8 seconds later), he was standing behind Yuudai, and he grabbed the man's shoulder, spinning him around with a fist drawn back. "Regardless of the situation, it's very rude to do such things. Perhaps in this case simply mean. After all, I just put her through emotional hell due to my horrendous behavior, don't you think that you're just being an asshole?" He said, his voice low, quiet, flat, monotonous in a way that seemed almost as though he were dead, though still speaking. He let fly. (Note, if Yuudai wanted to really try to be an asshole and move so that Leon hit Ashe, he is literally incapable of making such an error due to his speed, etc... It's times like this I wish he had the stats of the character who's stats his are based upon... The character's stats, are five times that of Leon's (His name also happens to be Leon lol), as such he takes the term 'To Move Mountains' and makes it real... That was Fun Facts: With Mordy. See you next time, folks )
