Why?
Why?
We ask ourselves this question
every hour,
every day,
and every week.
Why?
Did you betray out trust
when all we ever did
was give you our all?
You left us when we needed you most
you left us broken,
barely holding on.
Now we struggle to hold each other up
trying to move on,
without you here.
Time is all we need...
Atleast that is what they tell us.
Now we pull each other forward
and try to forget
the pain,
the betrayal,
everything...
We no longed ask ourselves why
for you confessed
leaving us broken once more
without help from anyone but ourselves.
We will move on
until we no longer
as ourselves

Why must the good always die so young in life?
There are no words to express the way we feel.
All anyone felt was the harsh twist if a knife.
Overcome with sorrow and pain, no one ate a meal.
Not a day goes by that we all don't cry.
Without a word, all of our crystal tears fell silently.
Atleast now we'll know you'll spread you wings and fly.
Atop are wings colored of gold and silver so lightly.
That the sun herself feels almost nothing but jealousy.
As we all watch you soar on wings so pure.
Our hearts and souks melt, turning into nothing but jelly.
Never feeling joy in our hearts until we were sure.
ThT your wings would take you forever high into heaven.
Leaving us behind with only the beautiful memories you've given.
