Name: Alphonse Elric
Gender: Male
Height: 5ft 7”
Age: 15
Hair Color: brown/blonde
Hair Style: see pic
Eye Color: golden
Skin Color: see pic
Powers(Only in the horse world): Same as his brother, alchemy
Possessions(such as weapons): he holds his brother's watch which allows his brother to access anywhere.
Personality: In many ways, Alphonse's calm and passive disposition exists as a foil to his older brother's more abrasive personality. Al is kindhearted, notably compassionate and patient almost to a fault, acting often out of protective selflessness for his loved ones, new friends and sometimes toward even his enemies. However, despite his age, he has always displayed a significantly higher level of maturity than Edward. Though Al is as passionate as his brother, he has remarked that his anger takes longer to spark and jokes that he is always beaten to the punch by Edward's outbursts. On the other hand, Al's heart does contain some darkness born from the tragedies of his life. Alphonse carries the added burden of blaming himself for the failure of his mother's resurrection and the subsequent loss of his brother's limbs. Possibly as part of his desire for warmth and love, Alphonse displays a great affection for small cats and has developed a bad habit of picking up stray kittens that he finds over the course of his travels, hiding them inside his armor cavity from his disapproving brother.
History: Alphonse, or Al, is the younger brother of Edward. He is also a gifted alchemist, though not nearly as good as Ed. He uses alchemy usually to fix things by using a transmutation circle. When Al and Ed's mother died, they attempted to use human alchemy, a strictly forbidden branch, to bring her back. Despite their best efforts, something went terribly wrong. The ingredients they used to create a new body weren't enough. Ed's left leg was consumed, as well as Al's entire body! Fortunately for Al, Ed did a quick transmutation; he sacrificed his right arm in order to put Al's soul in a suit of armor. To make matters worse, they STILL couldn't get their mother back. After getting cybernetic components (automail) to replace Ed's lost limbs, the boys went to central. They took the tests to become state alchemists. They both passed the written part, but Al had to withdraw, in case the state demanded a physical, and realized what he was (which is just a suit of armor, nothing inside).
Al could not eat, drink, feel pain, or breath. Alphonse is born in a small town named Resembool, where he lives with his older brother, Edward, and both of his parents, Trisha Elric and Hohenheim, until Hohenheim embarks on a journey and several years after, Trisha falls ill and dies, leaving the two young boys as orphans. Their neighbor, Pinako Rockbell, then begins looking after them. During that time, the brothers concentrate in studying alchemy in hopes of bringing their mother back to life and are able to train with a skilled alchemist named Izumi Curtis. Although they had gained a great deal of information and comprehension regarding the extended basics of the craft, before long it became apparent to the young prodigies that there was only so far they could go while being self-taught. Sooner or later Ed and Al found the Philosopher's Stone, Ed restored Al's body instead of his own. Edward had lost the stone once again and both are trying to get it back.
