A Single Second once felt so warm, now I'm fucking freezing
I am the once embraced abandoned one
I raised my eyes up to the light in hopes of finding healing;
no relief was mine,
I was burnt, by the sun The sun had finally set, and a chilling wind was blowing across the land. A Single Second stood still in the silver moonlight, shivering against the bitter cold. She closed her eyes and tucked her head against her body, attempting futilely to retain her body warmth. The night was silent, and she nickered softly to herself to keep despair from setting in.
I always knew
I always saw it coming
enveloped now, encased by my worst fear
I've never felt the nausea of longing to feel nothing,
I never wanted to cease to exist,
just disappear
She could see nothing but the silver tips of the grass that stretched out in front of her. Even this offered her no pleasure, it tasted like ash in her mouth. But it would never end. Her cursed life would not end no matter how much she begged. So for now, she would simply bear with it. Then she would get the chance to spit in the face of the one who caused this... For now, this was all she wanted. All she had done was fall in love... And this was her punishment.

Dragon Wing
I was flying for no reason at all but i ened up in the claiming grounds so i decided that i would see if i could find a mare to bring back with me to my sandy land.
I beat my wings and listened, looked which payed off as i spotted a black mare who seemed to be cold which i never was these days unless i was under a heap of frozen snow. I dived down and landed on the ground a few feet away from her and turned my head to a side then strait again "greetings fae" i said darkly i did not care what mares thought of me and i only took the time to find mares who would just come with me as dragging them annoyed me so. I had not offered her any warmth yet from my ever warm body and looked at her though my red eyes.

A Single Second The mare glanced up at him, but then dropped he gaze and said nothing. His presence was alien to him, and his voice felt distant. She slowly turned away from him; talking would do nothing. It would just serve as a reminder of the unattainable. |

I watched the mare turn away and i stamped my foot on the ground and moved out a wing to touch her side then walked so i stood at her front even thought i did not like a few things i would still pull a mare to my land even beat them if i must. I wanted to know about this mare as i would force her into my land if she did not quit with what she was doing "why are you here" i said a fair bit harder.

A Single Second Single Second felt nothing, even as the stallion touched her. She turned her eyes towards him, how annoying. It was like he was mocking her, what she couldn't have. "I'm merely here to bide my time." She took another step away. "You should leave here. I don't know what your intentions are, but make no mistake- I have no future. Not with you, or anyone." |

Now i was wondering what i should then just stamped my hoof again "bide your time okay then" i said and listened to what she next said and knew what i would if i wanted the mare i would have to drag her with me home and i rolled my eye at that "why would you have no future" i asked i would wait a little more before i would drag her back home as i wanted to get back there. I stamped my hoof again and a large stream of smoke left my nose as it did.

A Single Second The mare turned her gaze away again. "Because... Everything has turned away from me. Even the sun, who gives its warmth to all has abandoned me. I can do nothing until I free myself from his grasp. That is all." She took in a breath of cold air and tilted her head towards him, "It would be in your better interest to just leave me as I am." |

i listened to her and just ignored when she said i should just leave her "now two things who is him and how do you get free of his grasp" I said to her even thought i cared not and i would drag her home soon as i was getting board just talking to the mare. she was dark i could tell that and thats all i wanted was a few dark mares so at lest i did not live by myself. I stood stock still then let a little jet of flame come from my mouth "and if you want warmth why not stand were my flames would just reach no doubt you would be warm then" i said a little bit more darkly then what i sounded like before.

A Single Second Second actually laughed. "No matter how hot it is, I won't feel it. I feel nothing... As for 'he,' his name is Kill Caustic, and that is all I am entitled to tell you." Kill Caustic... The only being she had ever loved... Of course, Caustic hadn't always been as cruel as he was now. She had been a part of the same herd as him. When his father killed everyone, she only narrowly escaped by turning back time so that she could flee... She ran away and let everyone else die... Of course, she knew that even though his father blamed him, he wasn't the one who had killed everyone. She had chased after Caustic faithfully, because she loved him. Maybe she still loved him. But that wouldn't change the fact that she would wrench herself from this curse, and then end whatever she had with him. I listened to her words and frowned "Kill Caustic" i said the name as that was all she would tell me i nodded my head then decided i would ask her to come with me to my land in the mean time and if she said no to that i would drag her as i had had it standing around talking and my fire heart was asking to go home i could feel it but i know it was not the home i claimed but the one i got it from maybe it would help me make my land the same way and then it would stp making my fly there.
(i read it before hand as i do when i am board)

A Single Second The mare began to walk away. "I have no need to talk to you. If you wont leave, I will." Nothing would change, it didn't matter whether or not she was with someone. It made no difference. But of course, that wasn't entirely due to her curse... Even before, she had never felt anything around others. The only one that was different had been him... |

I lifted one eye brow before walking over to the mare and grabbed her mane in my mouth " i am not to sad to say that you must come with me" i said then pulled a little before starting off at a strong walk back to my home dragging the mare with at lest i hoped i still had her mane in my mouth.

A Single Second Rage flickered through the mare's eyes like fire, dying just as fast as it had sprung to life. Then her face became as listless as stone. "Suit yourself," she said in a low voice. Then she followed after the stallion to lessen to force of being pulled. She knew she could get away easily, but right now she didn't want to have to deal with any of it. And, if she was in this stallion's land, he would hopefully not allow any outsiders attack, which seemed to be very beneficial at the moment. She would go, and see how it turned out. |
