Audra
Iron-clad feather-feet pounding the dust An October's day, towards evening Sweat embossed veins standing proud to the plough Salt on a deep chest seasoning Last of the line at an honest day's toil Turning the deep sod under
I moved swiftly over the land my long stride moving the earth as i went. I stopped and raised my dapple gray head. i stood 18 hands at the shoulder and i had white in my feathering, mane and tail. I stood there looking at trees and shoke my head before moving on.
I came to a fallen tree and smiled to myself before starting at a gallop to jump it and that is what i did. i landed behind the fallen tree then turned around to push it as there was no trees to stop me doing so for a short time. I pushed it with out to much trouble as it was not that big and i knew i could push or pull things heavier but that would never happen again unless i found a farm that needed a working horse but that would not happen.

A handsome black stallion, with no marks to mar his perfect coat, flexed his powerful wings as he flew high above the ground. The wind ruffled his main gently and his eyes scoured the ground for anything. Anything that moved. His eyes glowed red for a moment, then quickly returned to black as his primal instincts took over; he had spotted a mare.
With no warning, Saishuu Akatsuki appeared behind her. "And to whom do I owe this pleasure?" his smooth, charming voice flowed from his mouth.
(He is in disguise, as he does often, so she shouldn't know he's the Dark Lord, okay?)

I stood still, looking around then remembered my wings which had come when i had came here to the horse world. i looked around then jumped but only sightly when a stag appeared behind me and spoke "Audra if that is what you wanted to know" i said then turned around so i faced the stallion and added "and who might you be with all do respect." I moved my large powerful wings a bit i had not tried to fly yet seeing as i was 18 hands and was not sure if they would hold my large weight but with feeling how powerful they were when i moved them i knew i could fly.
(okay)

The stallion dipped his head slightly, "You may call me... Mò Xū." The Dark Lord flexed his own wings, then they convulsed and shuddered, before retracting into his perfectly muscled back. With a short step back, he proceeded to circle around the mare, eying her carefully, calculating. No detail escaped his gaze.
After a few moments, he stopped in front of her, and locked her eyes with his own. "I am civil by nature, but I will have you know that nothing out of my mouth is a question. You will come with me to my land; this is a statement." His body trembled, longing to release his pent up power, to make himself known, but he kept it at bay. The mare would know all in due time. He chuckled darkly, his tone still smooth and consistent. After all, she should consider herself lucky. Not every dark mare had the opportunity to be claimed by the Lord of Darkness himself.
(Well, I sense a bit of narcissism here... As for the name, if you know Chinese, it should read something like Dead Dawn, End of Dawn, etc. I wanted his alias to be fitting, as Saishuu no Akastuki(I skip the "no" in his name) means final daybreak in Japanese)

I looked at him and listened when he said his name was Mò Xū. I stood quite still as he walked around looking at me i was glad he stop again. He locked his eyes in my own although i wanted to move my head down i did not do so and when he spoke, i listened well "yes Sir Mò Xū " i said as he made it clear just then that i was his. I watched him for a time wondering if this stag was who he said he was, but i shoke my head and waited to be lead away by this stallion.

The stag snickered at the mare's reply. He was a bit disappointed that she hadn't resisted, but he would get his energy out at another time. His son was always ready and willing to fight him, and soon enough his son would be almost as strong as the Dark Lord himself. Pride coursed through the stallion's eyes as he thought of his son, the heir to his land.
Saishuu Akatsuki, or as he was currently known, Mò Xū, pushed his nose into the mare's side to direct her toward his land. He knew she would discover who he was soon enough; his home was widely recognized throughout the dark lands.
