Shou pouted. "No way! I'm not playing the helpless blind kid!" He knew his friend was trying to help, but he had always hated admitting he was blind. He was not a handicap. "I got another idea." His third eye opened once more. Then he pulled his belt from around his waist and tied it over his forehead like a headband, effectively covering the eye. "I can still see if it's covered, just not if it's shut..." Then his tail wrapped around his waist to replace the belt, "And that solves my tail problem too!" He flashed a confident grin.

Jace looked at him. “That could work too..... but I still like the blind helpless kid idea... but no one will believe a bad-ass teenager who fights demons for a living.” he yawned again. He growled at Shou. “But thanks to you I'm missing out on my nap....” he stretched out his muscles again.

Shou shrugged, "Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, I'm tired too. After I hit the store we can find an Inn or something, I've got plenty of money." He didn't plan on disclosing how he had gotten it, but by normal standards he was quite wealthy as of now. It wasn't exactly legal, per say, and it had gotten him as exhausted and wounded as he had been when he found Jace, but, hey, at least now he had plenty of money to live on.
Shou cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, "Damn, I just can't get used to this gi... I've worn it plenty of times transformed, but I guess I just prefer my jacket. That bastard just had to cut it up, didn't he..." He continued grumbling to himself as he made his way toward the center of town, which would be filled with various shops. Once there, he could replenish his food, buy new clothing, and if he played his cards right, maybe even find a couple of senzu beans to stock up on. Those were quite popular on the black market to those who knew what they were capable of.

Jace just looked at him blankly. “Let's just get this over with....” he sighed. There wasn't anything else he wanted to know now, that he's made a friend. (sorry my muse is dying for jace)

Shou placed his hands lightly behind his head and glided forward, his feet a few centimeters above the ground.
As they entered the town, he sighed and dropped to the ground. It was best not to draw attention. Though with a rueful grin he remembered that as soon as he started eating, he would attract much more attention than necessary.
Shou continued walking down the street, which was lined on either side with various shops. He flicked his gaze around, and finally came to a sign that said, "All you can eat!" "OOOOOHHHHH!" he exclaimed, "LET'S GO THERE!" He happily skipped over to the door, where a young woman waited outside, taking down names and party numbers.
"How many?" she asked cheerfully, giving the handsome young men in front of her a wink.
"Ten," Shou answered, but as an afterthought glanced at Jace, "Oh, better make that eleven."
The girl smiled, "Are you waiting for the rest of your party?"
"Nope," Shou answered with an oblivious smile, "We're both here."
"But, why did- Oh, nevermind..."
Shou handed her the money, and she opened the door for them. "YAY! FOOD!" He bolted into the room and started down the buffet line, juggling several plates piled high with food.
The young woman turned away with wide eyes, "I'm not gonna ask..."

Jace sighed and just walked in. He wasn't that hungry but he walked over to the table with large amounts of food and drinks. He grabbed a small cup of coke and a small plate with fries and a burger. “You eat like you haven't eaten anything in years...” he took a sip of coke and munched on a french fry. “You'll draw a lot of attention to us.... not to mention who ever you were fighting earlier... and there are... 'people' who know 'who I am'...” he said not trying to make it too obvious. He just sighed again. It was no use talking sense into him if the only thing going into him was food.

Shou had downed three of his plates before his friend had joined him. "I always eat like this," he said between mouthfuls of mashed potatoes. "Can't help it. But I payed them enough so they wont go out of business... I hope."
He finished another five plates and stacked them as neatly as possible in the middle of his table. "Be right back." He shoved his chair back and headed toward the line. "Let's see... If they allow three plates per person... Then I should get... Thirty plates," he mumbled to himself as he rushed to the buffet line, "Dang! I should've payed for fifteen people!" He grabbed as many plates as he could carry and loaded them to capacity, then rushed back to his table.
After Shou finished, the table was loaded with dozens of cleared plates. "That was good," he said with a contented sigh. "Let's go get to the shop now, If you're done eating."
"They're leaving now," a figure said into a walkie-talkie, "From what I can tell, one of them is a saiyan, and the other is a shadowhunter(I think that's what he is... right?). Get ready."
A woman held her walkie-talkie to her lips, "Another saiyan? Tch, don't worry about it. I can handle him." She peered around the corner of the building, "Look's like he's still got his tail," she said quietly, "This will be a piece of cake if I can just get ahold of it..."

Jace sighed and came out of the restaurant. “Is it me or does it feel like we're being watched?” the shadowhunter clutched his Sanbi. He wasn't sure if it was a demon or something else. Jace starred at the saiyan. It was truly amazing that this boy can eat so much and not get fat and could still eat. Though... it wasn't to different for him.

Shou sighed and stretched his arms above his head, "Don't worry about it, it's probably nothing." He stopped at a small clothes shop on the side of the road, and began to browse through.
"The shadowhunter is on to us..." The woman whispered into the device, "But the saiyan is just as oblivious as always. What a disgrace to our race..."
"We should split them up," the voice replied through the walkie-talkie, "Just make sure no one else hears about this, you never know who might also be looking for them. The syndicate keeps its bounties open for everyone."
"Found one!" Shou sang as he held up his selection. The closest he had found was a plain black jacket and slacks, and he had chosen a dark red shirt to go underneath. It was not nearly as nice as his old jacket had been, but it would do. He slipped into the bathroom and powered down, then tore off the remains of his clothing. He pulled the shirt over his head and quickly slid into his pants, then shrugged on his jacket. He was out of the bathroom in less than half a minute.
The shop owner glanced curiously at his change in hair color and style. "What... Oh, never mind, I'm not going to ask." And what had happened to the purple clothes he had on a minute ago?
Shou payed her for the clothes and then exited the shop quickly. "Do you wanna go find someplace to sleep now? I haven't slept since the cage tournament..." He quickly realized he had slipped up, "Don't ask."
"It's time..." The girl whispered, then slipped her walkie-talkie into her pocket.

Jace gave a small grin. “You bet i am... I've been sleeping on the ground for days.....” he yawn and stretched. He knew that people were after him he just didn't know where they'd strike. “Let's go before it gets dark out...” he said looking around him to see if the people were watching.

"I think it's..." Shou glanced around quickly, and sighed, "This way," he said, pointing in a random direction. Then, without waiting for a response, headed in that direction briskly. "They're heading out now," the woman said quietly from her hiding spot. "Alright. Go separate the saiyan and take him in, I'll engage the other one." "But... How should I separate him without the two of them becoming suspicious?" She could hear a sigh come from the other end of the transmitter. "Takara..." "Yes?" "How long exactly have you been tailing him?" "Two and a half months, sir." "Two and a half months, you say..." the man said quietly. "And you're telling me you have no idea about any of his weaknesses?" he yelled. "W-well... I, uh- I know he's blind, but..." she stammered. After a moment she recovered her composure, "I'm sorry sir. He never let on any of his weaknesses. I will try harder." "Damn right you will!" With that, the agent Takara slipped from her concealment and made her way through the crowd toward her target. (Takara looks like this:)

Jace growled. There was no point in going after him. He hated going after people. The next thing he knew, he had punched a brick wall, making the building quake beneath his knuckles. Blood seeped down the brick where there was an indent in the wall. “… not the smartest idea I’ve made in my life…” he sighed, removing his hand from the wall. “Alec would probably say something like ‘you’re reckless, Jace. Heal like a mundane, slow and painful.’” he said to himself. He shoved his unharmed hand in his pocket and starred at his wounded hand. He then walked toward where he thought Shou went.

Shou didn't even notice that Jace had stopped following him, he just kept walking, looking around for any place that would serve as a hotel. Before he had gotten far, a young woman ran up to him. "Please, sir, you have to help me!"
Shou stopped and looked at her curiously, noticing her urgent expression, "What's wrong?"
Tears began to form in the girl's eyes, "He said... He said he's going to... k-kill me..." Her voice was just over a whisper.
"Who did?" Shou said softly, touching her shoulder to calm her.
"My... Guardian. When my parents died, he took care of me... As long as I stole money and gave it to him..." she choked out, "But I hate doing that! And today, I told him I wouldn't anymore... But he said if I didn't, he would kill me... And I don't know what to do..." Now the girl was sobbing, tears streaking down her face.
"Don't worry," Shou said calmly, "I'll take care of him for you..."
The girl looked at him with wide eyes and smiled through her tears, "Thank you, mister...?"
"Shousuke," he answered, "What's your name?"
"Ta-Takara," she whispered. Then she led him through the alleyway toward the outskirts of the town, an unsuspecting Shou following her willingly.

Jace looked around, seeing nothing now. He had wandered to a town square. Not many people were around though, and now he regretted not going after Shou. He lay on a bench not far from the entrance. He put his arm over his face and wait for Shou to find him before he dies of boredom.

Soon, the two entered the edge of the town, and the trees of the forest began. Shou scanned the area and felt no houses, or any people at all. "Where are we going?" he said hesitantly, and slowed down behind her.
Takara stopped, and made no movement for a second. Then, she spun around and pinned him against a tree in one swift movement.
"Wha-" Shou's protests were silenced with a hard kiss to his mouth. His body froze, and he didn't notice the hand creeping toward his pants (O.O). Then his muscles tensed and locked when he felt her firm grasp around his... tail. "What... what are you doing?" He managed to squeak out.
A confident smirk crossed Takara's lips. "You really are clueless, aren't you?" Then she raised her transmitter to her mouth with her free hand. "Target acquired."
A dark skinned man, clad in a black tuxedo and a top hat to match, approached the lone figure seated on a bench. "Hi there," he said cheerfully, a playful smile on his face. He raised a gloved hand to his hat and pushed it back, revealing a line of cross shaped scars cut into his forehead under his disheveled raven hair.
(He's the man from the other end of the walkie-talkie, if you haven't guessed... You know who he is, right? Oh, and if this doesn't sound fitting, it's because I'm making this up as I go. Like who the man is, and even that Takara was tailing Shou for over two months. If you look into one of my earlier posts, she was saying she thinks he's a saiyan, which wouldn't fit if she had been tailing him, so... Anyway, just bear with me. And I was thinking that if I don't kill off Takara in this thread I might make her into a character cuz I kinda like her.)
