Jace sat quietly at the bottom of a weeping willow tree during the middle of a clear sunny day. His glamor stop other normal mundanes from seeing him. He was invisible to the eyes of the mundane world. A shadowhunter like him would never see true happiness again, even though it had seem like a “normal” world in the past with the “normal” ups and downs. He sighed from the boredom the day has caused. He placed his hand over his eyes and had kept them their for a period of time before drifting off to sleep.

(ha ha!!! so people can't see him, huh? well then, guess its a good thing Shou cant see anything)
Shosuke stopped abruptly, his shoes skidding through the dirt from his momentum. He glanced around quickly, then turned to the right, quickly picking up a strained run. After a few minutes he stopped again, then pressed his hand against a tree and leaned his weight on it. Sweat beaded down his forehead. It's no use... Dammit! If I could fly I'd have this area mapped out in no time!
The boy sighed loudly. This day couldn't be worse. The wind ripped through his now tattered and bloody clothing, accenting the pain that shot through him constantly. To top it all off, his ki was dangerously low from that little "encounter" he had, so not only could he not fly, but his "vision" was almost nonexistent. And, he was inconceivably lost. Of all the luck.
He closed his eye as blood dripped down his forehead and grunted. It was not like he needed it anyway. Then he pushed off from the tree to regain his balance and started forward at a much slower pace. He was bound to run into a town at some point. Hopefully sooner than later, his supplies were running dangerously low.
As he walked, he sensed a relaxed ki off to his right, and approached it slowly. His meager "vision" could make out a sleeping form, and he called out loudly, "Excuse me, do you know where the closest town is?" He put on his best polite expression, hoping his bloodied eye and battered clothing would not ruin the effect. He chuckled a bit; he probably looked like hell. But, how would he ever know what he looked like?

Jace was woken from his slumber as he grunted to get up. He yawned and stretched before looking at the man in front of him. Hmph... so you could see right though my glamor, eh? Though he cleared his thoughts and spoke to the man. “A town? There be no town around here... I've checked but there is one outside of the borderlands where you'd loose your sense of protection...” he bluntly stated. His hand slowly guided his way to one of his steles: sanbi. “So why so bloody stanger?” he asked looking him over with his golden colored eye. His semi-short hair ruffled in the wind. The sweet smell of pitch filled his nose.

Shou sighed when he heard the man speak. "None around here, huh... great..." When he heard his question, he shrugged and wiped the blood from his forehead, allowing him to open his vibrant green eye. "Just a little fight." His tail twitched a bit, unconsciously, then wound its way around his waist to serve as a belt. Shou seemed to stare at a point beyond the man in front of him, and after a moment of silence, his eyebrows furrowed. Then his eyes widened and he jumped up. "Why didn't I think of that before?" he exclaimed. He dug his hand into his pocket and rummaged around a bit, finally producing a small green bean. "I knew I had a few left." He popped the bean into his mouth and chewed quickly, an expression close to glee on his face. He swallowed, and instantly, the blood stopped. He felt his shoulder pop back into place, and his skin mended all the wounds and tears perfectly. He grinned, "Gotta love those senzu beans."

Jace crossed his arms in disbelief. “huh... you mundanes sure have weird ways of healing.... that's besides the hospital....” he said arching his eyebrow. “Now, I must ask so very bluntly about you. What kind of downworlder are you?” he looked up and down at this man, obviously some kind of alien or something.

Shou tilted his head to the side, giving a mildly confused grin, "Downworlder? Nah, I'm a saiyan." His tail unwrapped from his waste and began swaying side to side as if to prove this. Everyone knew what saiyans were, right? He thought for a moment. No, no they probably didn't... "Anyway, it's nice to meet you, my name's Shousuke." He flashed a small smile, "Now that I had this little sidetrack, can get back to a town in no time. I suppose I can search for the townspeople's ki, and then IT there." His grin widened, "This day is looking up already!"

Jace scratched his head in puzzlement. “A saiyan, huh? Are those like aliens or something?” right now he was curious about this boy or whatever he is. “Oh.... my name's Jace Wayland.... and what are you looking for exactly?” he asked.

"I- ah, guess you could call us aliens. Well, we're not from Earth, at least. But there's not very many saiyans left after our planet, Vegeta-sei, was destroyed." This was all the information Shou allowed himself to disclose. "I'm just looking for a town to replenish my dwindling supplies, and maybe get a good night's sleep in a bed..." The boy rubbed his neck and grinned, "Well, thanks for your help. If you'd like, I can take you anywhere in a flash, as long as you have some way to distinguish the area. Like a bunch of people living there, for instance. Or A place I've been. Though I don't know how you'd know where I've been, but..." Shou blinked and closed his mouth, realizing he'd been rambling. He chuckled softly, then fell silent again.

“We shadowhunters don't track places unless they are infested with demonic energy.” he shrugged. “But since I don't have a place to go and no one to go home to... mind if I tag along? I might jut slay a downworlder to repay you for finding me.” he said sarcastically though deep down, he might have did that for an outsider with a story like that. I guess we have one thing in common... we have no home but the cold outside world. He thought.

Shou blinked and remained silent for a moment. Then he grinned widely, "Sure thing, buddy!" He clasped his hand on Jace's shoulder, without bothering to explain, and raised his other hand to his forehead. He touched two fingers to his face, then closed his eyes to concentrate. Sure enough, he felt countless weaker kis, all massed together, a few miles away. It was a fairly large town. With a small smile, he took note of his newfound acquaintance's ki, which was fairly large for a human. Or at least, he assumed the boy was human. Suddenly they lurched through space, and instantly appeared at the outskirts of the town. Shou released his friend and gave an apologetic smile, "Sorry, I should have warned you. Instant transmission can be a bit rough on first time passengers."

Jace felt dizzy but had shaken it out of his mind. “You think?” he glared at Shou. “Anyway..... so what powers does a saiyan have?” he asked sounding like someone he knew. He sighed as he took out his stele, twirling it skillfully in his fingers.

Shou furrowed his eyebrows, debating how much to reveal. "Nothing a human can't do. Well, to a greater extent." He raised his hand to demonstrate, and held it outward, fingers splayed and palm facing a large boulder. A yellow ball of ki glowed, then quickly shot into the rock, disintegrating it instantly. "That, and this." His hair flashed gold for a few seconds, allowing his power to stir around him, raging like wind. Several chunks of earth floated around him, turning to dust from the force of his power. He sighed, and allowed his hair to return to black and sit calmly around his head. His first form would be enough; he had no way of knowing if this person would turn into a future enemy, so it would not be wise to display the rest of his ability. "What about you?"

Jace stopped twirling the stele in his hand, starring at Shou. “Well, I'm a shadowhunter.... there isn't much to it then slaying demons....and these....” he pulled his sleeve and showed many marks that were a golden color that matched his eyes. “Though.... I can show you what I do but I can't... no demons!” he said with slight joy.

"Demons... Uh-huh..." His tone was a bit more of surprise than of skepticism, as he was in no place to doubt others, being an alien and all. His eyebrows pinched together, as they did so commonly, as he thought about this. "Well, if any demons show up, you'll have to show me," he said finally.
Shou realized that anyone who saw him in his current state would probably be hysterical. Dried blood stained his tattered clothing, and his face and bared flesh were covered with bitter scars. He closed his eyes and remained quiet for a moment. Then a surge of energy surrounded him, once more spiking his hair. It glowed golden, his eyes taking on an aqua color. Finally, a purple gi took the place of his tattered clothing. He opened his eyes, and the scars along his arms and face faded, finally becoming invisible.
"Shoot!" he muttered, "I forgot. If I transform, my hair spikes..." He vigorously rubbed the now visible third eye that marked his forehead, but he knew it would not disappear. Without his hair to hide it, anyone would be able to see that he was marked. Around here, anyone with the mark of a chakra was loathed and feared... No one would offer him supplies if it bore it. "Guess there's no choice," he said with a sigh. The mark shrank, appearing as if the eye was closing, until only a small horizontal line showed where it had been. The problem with this was that without his eye, he could see nothing. He could still sense ki, but that wouldn't stop him from walking into a tree. Without explaining himself, he turned to his friend. "Hey, can you do me a favor? Can you guide me to the shop in the town?"

Jace chuckled a bit. “Only if you make it believable. Tie something around your eyes and pretend your my helpless blind friend. How's that sound?” he chuckled some more and crossed his arms.
