A loud (manly) scream shattered the normally quietness in the town of Resembool, for the second or third time. Al flinched as Winry grabbed her wrench and forcefully hit it against Ed's head. Ed grunted.
“Would you shut your mouth? I'm trying to concentrate but you keep running your big mouth after I barely touch you with the disinfected clothe to get rid of infection! Do you want to loose your other arm?” Winry hissed. Ed weakly rubbed his head with his automail arm and shook his head.
“This wouldn't have happened if you would just be careful and avoided Envy's attack! Now your other arm is cut up along with you chest!” she stated the recent happenings of Ed. It was true. Ed didn't avoid Envy's attack, but, what Winry didn't know is that he attack them first after tracking them and letting Envy attack him (after he was healed). He had felt guilty and was beating himself for what he had done. What did he do? He left Amaria after Envy's ambush attack. After he told her he had liked her for quite some time. He hated himself for it and now all he wanted to do was beat himself up again.
While pondering deeply on the couch, Winry had cleaned up his wounds on his chest and arm and had bandaged them up. Winry spoke softly and snapped Ed out of his thoughts.
“Ed... are you okay? You've been getting hurt more often and you've been spacing out lately...” Ed sighed and shook his head.
“I...I'm fine Winry...” he finally spoke and got up slowly. He looked back at Winry with a weak smile.
“I'll be out... Thank you...” he said. Winry started but was too late when Ed fell forward. He grunted and looked back.
“Sorry Ed... I forgot to tighten the bolts on your knee...” she weakly laughed and helped him up and back on the couch.
(Well, if you haven't noticed, he is bare chested and in shorts so if Amaria walks in... well I'll leave that to you to ponder on...)
