Icarus looked back up at the boy, only to find that he had fallen asleep. "Tch." he smiled a little before getting up and moving toward the boy. Icarus hesitantly picked up the boy, his left hand at the back of his knees and this other supporting his back. He walked over to the futon and placed him on the far side of it and covered him with the blanket. "What will I do with you?" he chuckled softly before climbing into be with him, obviously giving the boy space. Drowsiness soon swept over and he was soon deep into sleep.

Zwei was running, like so many times before. The weight of the chain around his leg grew more and more unbearable, and he could feel the icy presence behind him creeping up. How much longer could he run in the endless darkness that spread all around him? The gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach threatened to overwhelm him as he ran without direction. Suddenly the chain snagged in the dirt, and the young boy tumbled over his own feet. He knew this was it. He could no longer bear this burden. The first of an endless stream of hot tears streaked down his cheeks as he curled himself into a ball.
But where was that warmth coming from?
A calming sensation spread over his body, and the weight of the chain seemed to have disappeared completely. All at once, the darkness around him seemed welcoming, as if the threat had vanished entirely. For the first time in many years... He relaxed, and fell into a soothing, dreamless sleep.
And the boy lay fast asleep, his arms wrapped tightly around the source of his comfort, the figure sleeping next to him.
(Yes, I know, how cliched. But I think it's cute. X3)

A bright light streamed and broke through the darkness of the cave. Icarus yawned and went to stretch his arms but was weighted down by something. Her looked to his side to see the young boy he had brought back earlier the previous day. "That's too cute..." he said quietly. He slowly slid his arm around Zwei and brought him closer to him. Looking up to the ceiling of the cave, he wondered why the boy was so skittish. The chain around his ankle seemed so familiar. But what?
