Rihito sneered at the girl who had spoken, his eyes amused. Then he once again turned his gaze to Ian, "You've made some interesting new friends. I suppose they're not as helpless... as Yuuki." He finished slowly, knowing it would torture Ian.
Ian squeezed his eyes shut, then brought his right hand to his face, clutching it tightly. Blood began to flow from his forehead as he opened his eyes, glaring at Rihito from beneath his fingers. His eyes began to turn black, and the pupils glowed yellow. Finally his skin turned snow white, beginning at his fingertips until it covered his entire body. A spot on his chest became coal black, then slowly the flesh disappeared, leaving a gaping hole where his heart had been. His face widened into a bloodthirsty grin, and without warning, he launched himself at Rihito.
With an explosive crash, the two locked blades. Then Rihito jumped back, brandishing the sword he had created from the air. Ian held his sword tightly, and sliced it through the air, sending a black wave of energy at Rihito. Rihito grinned, "That wasn't too nice." He quickly dodged, leaving the wave heading directly for Aurora and Caroline.

Caroline couldn't move. It was as if she were stuck. she was watching the two men fight, blade to blade. she hadn't seen the blast comming though her senses were sharp, and at that moment it hit her. she was sent flying to a rock wall. Almost cutting her in half. she had a deep wound going across her legs and arms. she also had one on her left cheek. blood spattered every where. she had almost died. she was slowly dieing but she didn't give up. she coughed up a bit of blood and spoke of these words, "Stop this right now. you are supposed to be friends. so what if Ian killed your sister. he couldn't control himself. come on stop it please!" she said slowly. a tear ran down her wounded face. "Please? For me and your sister?" she said, she was almost fully crying. though tear after tear she beg them to stop.
(she also had a cut on her stomach but i just forgot to mention it)

Aurora was shocked as she was thrown backwards by the same black wave that had hit Caroline. Trying to catch herself, before hitting the tree, with her left arm she heard a sickening crack as pain shot like lightning up her arm; which was now bent oddly at the elbow before her entire arm went numb. Not only was it broken at the elbow but with the force of hitting the tree also knocked that shoulder out of it's socket, she grit her teeth against the pain.
'If you don't want the past to repeat than stop!'

Ian never heard their cries; he was locked away too deep within himself. The heat of the battle had gotten to him, and nothing could stop him now. He screamed out as he sent another wave at Rihito, the insanity showing in his eyes. A thick wall formed in front of Rihito, crumbling under the impact of the wave. As the dust cleared, Rihito launched himself at Ian. The blades met again, and Rihito was forced backward. His face curled into a vicious sneer, and a pole shot from the earth through Ian's chest, pinning him to a tree behind him Ian's expression didn't change; he pulled the pole out and threw it to the ground. His torn shirt revealed the hole in his chest; the pole had gone through the hole caused by his transformation, leaving no wound behind. He brought his sword up and swung it down quickly, sending out another wave. Rihito raised his sword instinctively, but it snapped under the impact. Rihito glanced at it quickly, then tossed it away. He leapt toward Ian and grabbed onto his collar with one hand, slugging him across the face with the other. Ian's eyes widened with the shock of impact, once again belonging to himself. Seizing the moment, he forced the intruder out of control, and the color returned to his skin. The hole in his chest closed, and he looked at Rihito sadly, "Kill me." Rihito showed no hint of sadness as another sword appeared in his hand. He raised it quickly, but then Ian caught the thick scent of blood that still lingered in the air. He turned his head and gasped as he saw Aurora and Caroline. He threw Rihito off and ran to them, "What happened?" (sorry for the really long post, its such a pain when u have two chars that are enemies cuz when they fight u have to type ALL of it, rather than just half...)  |

Aurora looked up at Ian, trying to ignore the pain even though her voice wavered as she spoke.
'The first wave you sent at Rihito that he dodged...it hit us. Though i think Caroline caught the worst of it. Don't worry about me...my arm just needs to be pushed back into place; though the break might take a bit to heal. Besides this and a few bruises...i'm fine. We need to help Caroline first though...' Aurora winced as she pushed herself to stand up with her good arm, her left arm hanging at her side.

Caroline was losing blood. she coughed up more blood then the last time. she managed to say one last thing before she went into coma. "i'm just going to die! help me now......" she said in a low voice. she went silent. she coughed up more blood. then her eyes closed. she was still alive but in danger. she sent mind waves to Ian. they were clear. "i am hurt bad. help me now....." she thought to him.

Rihito watched the scene quietly, his eyes dark, as Ian knelt beside the bleeding girl. He pulled his shirt off and started tightly wrapping her wounds to stop the flow of blood. Then he lowered his head next to her's, exposing his neck. "If it will help, take as much of my blood as you need," he said slowly.

Caroline heard what he said and felt him tighten some cloth around her wounds. she felt Ian's warmth near her mouth. she refused to drink his blood. she knew if she put her fangs up to Ian's neck, then she wouldn't be able to stop and eventually kill him. she couldn't risk his life for hers. she sent mind waves back to Ian. "I can't drink your blood. I've lost too much blood and I could kill you." she sent him.

Ian shook his head, "I'm the one who did this to you, it doesn't matter if it kills me! It was my fault in the first place."
Suddenly Ian found a fist in his stomach, sending him flying backward through a tree. The tree cracked and fell backwards, and Rihito stepped towards Ian's broken form. "Are you two finished yet? I'm getting tired of your sappy conversation."
Ian placed his hand on the ground and forced himself to stand on his shaky legs, clenching his teeth against the pain. "You bastard..." His eyes started glowing again, and the pain vanished. His bones began mending themselves as his transformation took over. But he didn't want to lose himself again. No! he screamed in his head, this is my body! The voice laughed coldly, Don't you want to save them? You can't without my help. Ian closed his eyes, Just get out! To his surprise, the voice vanished. His eyes remained glowing, but the color stayed in his skin. He lunged at Rihito, and grasped his neck tightly with one hand, forcing him against a tree.
Rihito looked at him, shocked, "W-what?"
Ian's cold, venomous voice sounded out quietly but clearly, "Leave now, or I'll kill you this time!" It pained him, but he could see how Rihito had changed, and his presence put everyone around him in danger.

Aurora knew that Caroline needed blood and with Ian busy at the moment she decided to allow Caroline drink from her. Kneeling neck to her, Aurora moved her hair out of the way.
'Caroline, drink from me. I know you need to, i'll be fine so just dont argue and do it...ok?'

She couldn't argue with her. she slowly opened her mouth revealing her fangs. she slowly moved her head near her neck. she bit into the pulsing vein. she felt the warm blood trickle down her throat. she then lifted her fangs from her neck. she was satisfied for now. she felt new and was able to get up now. she opened her eyes and saw what Ian had done. she was still in pain, but was able to move around slowly. she moved her hands behind her bruised back. she sat up, then she put her legs underneath her. she stood up from the place she was laying. she slowly moved toward Ian. "Ian you don't have to do this." she said slowly. she saw his eyes and heard his voice. this was not the normal Ian. she realized that earlier she had drank his blood. she didn't worry but she was soon to find out what will happen to her.

Ian's eyes faded back to normal when he heard Caroline's voice. He looked at Rihito, who's face was filled with fear and remorse. Ian finally released his grip, "Go."
Rihito lowered his head regretfully, but in an instant his expression filled with venom. A dirk appeared in his hand, and before Ian had time to react, Rihito had run the blade through his chest.
Ian stood still, gaping at the blade, as his vision started to blur. "Why?" he mumbled as his eyes glazed over, and he collapsed into the dirt.
Rihito stood over him, a sneer on his face. "Never lower your guard around an enemy."

caroline felt anger inside her, buliding up and ticking like a bomb. it wasn't long before her fuse blew. the she heard a voice echo in her head. Kill Rihito! He hurt Ian. You love him, so kill Rihito. she started to breathe heavily her eye glowed red with anger. she started to speak. "Never hurt a vampire's friend. Ever!" her voice seemed to be echoed by another voice. she raised her arm toward Rihito's neck and tightened her grip. "Leave this place now or you'll end up as my dinner." she said with a firm and steady voice.

Rihito clutched Caroline's hand tightly, lessening the pressure on his own neck. "I'll leave once I'm sure that monster is dead." He faced Caroline, his eyes dark and serious, "You say he's you're friend, but you know nothing about him. He deserves no friend; only hell awaits him!" With that six metal poles shot from the ground around Caroline, closing in on her.
