Ian's eyes were pained, "I'm sorry, you just... You look like someone who died a long time ago..."
Yuuki was nothing but a memory now, and he had to let her go. He couldn't face the future if he couldn't let go of the past. He knew this, and yet every time he looked at the girl in front of him, a fresh wave of pain shot through his body. If only he could undo the mistakes he'd made...
Ian made an attempt to smile, "Anyway, I'm Ian." He held out his hand for her to shake, but he suddenly noticed the blood that covered it. His eyes widened, and he fell to his knees, shaking uncontrollably. He gripped his head with both hands, feeling sick, "What have I done?"

Quickly Daelyn dropped down next to him. She wasn't sure what was going on, but wanted to comfort him. She suddenly without warning she wraps her arms around him. "Are you okay?" she said taking the same words he said to her.

Ian calmed down when he felt the girl's arms around him. "I- I'm the one who killed him..." he said slowly, indicating Rihito. "For so many years I thought he had died by my hand, and now he has." He broke free from Daelyn's embrace and returned to his feet. "And because of me... Because of me Caroline is dead!"

Hearing Ian's words, Aurora looked up before standing and walking over to him. Placing a hand on his shoulder before speaking.
'Ian, Caroline allowed herself to die so that you could live. She choose to die...it wasn't because of you. If anyone should blame themselve it should be me...i...i didn't...do much and i should have.'

"Rihito came for me, because of my mistakes. It had nothing to do with you." Ian wanted so badly to end himself for what he had done. He lifted his sword and touched the tip to his chest, his hands shaking. But then he remembered something that someone had told him a long time ago, "It doesn't matter if you have done something terrible, death is only a coward's escape. If you truly regret what you have done, then use your remaining life to repent. Even if you only make a slight difference, it will ease the pain." He closed his eyes. What could he possibly to to repent for his mistakes?

Daelyn gripped the sword by the blade, cutting her hand. she took the sword out of his hands and placed it on the ground. "You shouldn't die. I've lost my brother and my dad. I don't want to lose another one." she said looking down at her cut hand. she ripped off a piece of her shirt and rapped it around the cut.
Ichigo walked in with his sword on his back. He was exhausted from his walk. Suddenly heard a familiar voice. "Daelyn? Is that you?" he took out his sword in case the others were dangerous.

Ian's eyes quickly turned alert when he saw the man draw a blade. He positioned himself between him and the others, his face serious. "Who are you?"

Daelyn looked back to see a familiar face. she got in between the two. she looked at Ian. "Ian this is..... Ichigo......... my brother." she looked back at Ichigo. She felt repaired, and a piece of family was put back into her heart. she walked up to Ichigo. "You still have that sword don't you?" she said with a smirk.
Ichigo smiled along with her. "Ya I do and i got better. I can actually control my "powers" and.... well I'm able to kick anyones ass..... heh..." he said scratching the back of his head.

"Well, aren't you cocky?" Ian relaxed a bit when he realized Daelyn knew him, but he still remained on edge. "Anyone? There's always someone stronger than yourself, no matter how powerful you may be." His eyes were serious and challenging; he stared down the newcomer.

Aurora looked over at Daelyn with a small smile.
"Hi Daelyn, I'm Aurora"
Hearing another male approach, Aurora looked up, becoming slightly cautious when she saw that he had his sword drawn.
"If you don't wish for a fight it'd be best to sheath your sword, otherwise we might get the wrong impression...and a fight is not what we need right now."
She looked over at both guys as she heard them exchange words. She really didn't wish to see another fight, nor did she wish to watch these two guys anger each other.
"Ian, Ichigo....please don't start this...angering each other will lead to no where and I think there has been enough pain dealt today."
She clutched the ring Caroline had given her, it was something she would treasure forever especially since it was all she had left from a good friend.

Daelyn looked at Aurora with a smile. "Nice to meet you and well I don't think it's a "real" fight. I think he knows what's going on...." she said. Ichigo looked at Aurora. "I can already tell he has the same power as me." he said lowering his sword and he looked back at Ian. "And that man was killed by Ian, because he killed that girl over there." he said pointing at both bodies. "You couldn't control your rage because you probably close to her. I've done the same thing." he said while backing up a few steps. "But I just have to say that I'm more trained then you and I can be really scary." he held up a picture that he kept in his pocket to remind him what he can become. he held it up to Ian to show him how worse the power can get. "This is me in my final form...... and I couldn't remember what prevoked me....." he said. (here is the picture:  ) |

Ian stared at the picture; the man was entirely unrecognizable in it. If he didn't watch himself, he could end up like that, too... He turned away, "That's your problem... I will never end up like that." He sounded harsher than he had intended, but he didn't want to so much as think about ever becoming the form that man showed. He pushed the image from his mind and walked away, then slumped at the base of a tree, leaning against it in his exhaustion.

Ichigo looked at Ian angerly. "This is my problem, but you are putting others in danger. If you don't control it by the time you reach final form......who knows what could happen..." he stopped.
Daelyn hit Ichigo in the back of the head. "Shut up and stop being so cocky! Gesh!" she said rubbing her hand. "Damn it Ichigo! You are such a show off!" she said under her breath. she knew he was right but she knew it would scare Aurora. Especially whatever just happened.

Ian clutched his face, his eyes glaring at Ichigo. "That's exactly why I said... I will never become that! I know already the pain I can cause others, and that's why... That's why no matter what it takes I wont let it consume me. I don't care if it kills me, I wont let that happen!" He pulled himself to his feet again, clutching Rihito's sword in one hand, and Yuuki's Lily flower in the other. (I decided Zero looks enough like Ian, so I'm going to use pics of him too to show Ian)  |
