Willow walked through the forest as she came to a meadow. It seemed peaceful enough so she decided to take a quick rest here. She removed her jacket to reveal a black and and red spaghetti strapped shirt, over it she wore a black low cut shirt but the spaghetti shirt underneath covered her; the sleeves came down to her elbows, along with the shirt she wore black capris. Willow threw her jacket up onto a tree branch before pulling herself up after it. Taking the jacket she placed it against the trunk of the tree as she leaned back against, her eyes closing as her brown highlighted hair hung over her shoulders, her right leg propped up and her left one dangling over the side of the branch, yes here would be a good place to get some sleep...

Mordecai slowed to a jog as he saw a within the field he was passing through a large tree. He'd been running for days. He wasn't exhausted, but he was tired, and as such, slowed further to a walk, striding under the tree, intending to find shelter for a time under it's leaves. He pulled the sword off his back and stabbed it deep into the ground next to him, tying the silk at the end around his wrist so it couldn't be taken without his notice.
He then sat against the tree, and kicked off his boots.
"Damn, I need new boots. Those are exceedingly uncomfortable." He said, thinking he was alone.

Willow laid on the tree branch with her eyes closed, not fully awake but yet not fully unaware of her surroundings. She shifted slight, unaware that her shoe had become loose on her foot as it fell onto the unsuspecting head of the male leaning against the tree underneath her. (it's a tennis shoe lol)

"What the hell?" Mordecai said and leaped to his feet, looking up after the shoe hit him on the head. He saw a rather pretty girl lounging above him in the branches of the tree. He leaned down and picked up the shoe.
"Excuse me, miss, but is this your shoe?" He asked, holding it up. He didn't expect to have company, here, but he figured he'd rather be there with a woman. They weren't as agitating as his fellow man. Usually, anyway.

Hearing a voice out of nowhere, Willow jumped with a start....only to end up falling out of the tree and land on her butt. Sitting up she rubbed her lower back before looking up at the guy. Realising that her shoe had indeed fallen off she grinned sheepishly. "Oops, my bad." Willow pushed herself up to stand on her feet as she accepted her shoe back, leaning against the tree as she put it back on and tied it. Looking but up at the guy she gave him a friendly smile. "I'm Willow, what's your name?"

Mordecai couldn't help but smile back at Willow. "My name's Mordecai. You can call me Mordy if you wish. Willow's a very pretty name. Fitting, as well." Mordy said, but cursed himself after the last sentence. He complemented friends frequently, he was of the opinion that everybody could use one once in a while.
But to a stranger? A female stranger? He couldn't help himself, though. She was charming in her own way. All the same, he blushed slightly, and kind of looked away.

Willow tilted her head off to the side at seing Mordy blush slightly, not much could really get past her keen eyes...atleast not while she was fully aware of her surrounds like she was now. "It's nice to meet ya Mordy! So, where were you heading? Or did you jsut come here for a quick rest like me?" Willow looked up towards the bracnh she had been laying on before pulling herself up onto it to grab her jacket.. Sitting on the branch with her legs dangling off the side she looked down at Mordy, giggling slightly for jsut the reason of doing it...though it could have been the fact that he looked silly. A well built man like him blushing, now that was something she didn't see every day.

Mordecai's smile returned and he gave a slight chuckle at Willow's attitude. He leaped up into the branches of the tree beside her, landing without shaking the branch. "Just a quick rest. I've been traveling for days." He said, looking at Willow, still smiling, though in the back of his mind he felt like he was breaking one of his principles, he dismissed it.

Willow's smile stayed, even though she looking at him quizzically. "Why would you be travelling for days?" She herself had only been travelling for atleast a day and she was only slightly tired..though to travel for days on end and not even been extremely tired? 'Wow he must have worked hard to be able to do that.' she thought quietly to herself. "So what brings you out here?" Her voice stayed light and sweet the entire time she spoke.

"I'm looking for a suitable Stallion to go to a good owner. I mark the Horse, tell him, and he comes in and captures it. He's a good man, otherwise I would not do it." Mordecai explained, with a shrug. He smiled again.
"Though I've had no luck in almost two weeks of searching. Until today, that is." He added, wondering if she'd get his joke. He didn't joke much, so he wasn't really sure if it was even in good taste.

Willow smiled at Mordy, her eyes lit up even more if it was even possible. "Oh really? And what is it that you have found on this search?" her tone was kept playful as she looked Mordy in his eyes, a large smile gracing her lips.

"A maiden who is good company, and all the things that make it. This maiden has a great personality... And her appearance isn't bad, either." Mordecai said, meeting the gaze while his own smile was growing, whilst the feeling that he was betraying himself returned and grew, and he again dismissed it.

Willow's smile grew as she looked at Mordy before her voice spoke out again. "Well, what would said man do if the maiden wanted to play a game?" With a playful smirk Willow jumped down from the branch, as soon as her feet touched the floor she ran into the forest, dodging in between the trees before pulling herself back up into another tree, hiding herself slightly. With teh forest as quiet as it was, giggles could randomly be heard echoing through the trees.

Mordecai laughed, quickly dropping from the tree and following Willow's tracks. He stopped when they stopped, as she went into the rather large tree above him. He acted confused, passed the tree, looking around with a smile. He, still smiling, then leapt right onto the branch she was hiding on, his hearing having pointed out her location with ease.
"The man would say... Found you." He said quietly. He still smiled. He was having fun.

Willow broke out into a laughing fit as Mordy appeared behind her. "I should have made that harder for you. Besides your it." Her eyes lit up as she poked Mordy's nose before ducking passed him and began jumping through the trees, this time trying to stay as quiet as she could. Though once she stopped, she hid herself behind the leaves and higher up by a branch than last time. Silent laughter shook through her body as she waited to see if he could find her this time.
