Mordecai laughed when Willow poked his nose, before turning and looking at the trees. He concentrated, though still couldn't resist smiling, as he looked for signs of where she had gone. He noticed broken twigs, turned leaves, and scuffs on tree branches, which he followed, getting to the tree in which Willow was hiding. He looked up, seeing her, and smiling.
"Hello." He said, before leaping up onto the branch next to her.

Willow burst into another fit of laughter as she looked up at Mordy, her eyes almsot sparkling. "How do you find me every time." This time instead of running off to start the game again she leaned back against the tree as her eyes locked with Mordy's. She was slightly mesmerized by how always seemed to know just where she was hiding...it intrigued her to no end and she was truly curious about how he did it.

Mordecai laughed, sitting down on the branch and looking at Willow.
"I followed your tracks... It's one of the many things I've learned how to do over the years. And the first time I followed your tracks at first, then your laughter. Superhuman hearing." He explained, smiling. He hadn't known this her for ten minutes and already he thought of her as a good friend, and he was -for the first time in a long time- having fun.

Willow looked slightly confused when Mordy told her superhuman hearing. 'How'd you get that? though i guess it has something to do with this world..' She looked up through the leaves as the night's cold grasp slowly took away the sun.

"Yeah. In this world I have superhuman strength, speed, hearing, better eyesight, the ability to see fairly well in the dark, and the ability to produce and control certain elements and energies through these rings." Mordy explained, still smiling, then he looked at Willow again.
"What can you do here?"

Willow smiled at Mordy. 'I can control lightning..as for the other thing i can do...you have to figure that one out.' With that she jumped down from the tree and took off yet again. Except this time she just happened to go back to the meadow where a group of deer happened to be. Taking the form of a doe, Willow joined them, her form blending in perfectly. Though she wondered if Mordy would be able tell where she was.

Mordecai dropped from the tree, again following Willow's tracks. They lead back into the meadow. He frowned. It didn't seem a good place to hide... What was she planning?
He continued following the tracks, until they changed, seemingly taking on the form of deer hooves. He smiled. Looking up, he saw several deer. He looked back down at the tracks, and followed them to one particular doe, whom he smiled at, before picking up and holding in his arms.
"Is your name Willow, or am I just scaring you to death?"

(when she changes back to a human, yes she is clothed)The form of a doe in his arms changed back to that of a laughing Willow. 'Wow, you really are good at tracking...though no one can track a bird in flight' She laughed softly at the though of him tracking her down while she was a bird...then again she didn't doubt that he could find her.

Mordecai laughed. "Nobody can track a bird, but for watching it in flight. If said bird flew into the trees, however, the tracker would be quite sad, I can assure you." He said, smiling, still holding Willow in his arms. He felt content... And because of that felt nervous. But, again, he surpressed it. He'd never much relied on feelings of what was and what was not safe anyway.

Willow looked up at Mordy as she leaned her head against his chest as she looked up at him. 'Well why would said tracker be sad? All he would have to do is whistle and the bird would surely come back.' A small still graced her face even though her eyes softened. She was content were she was.

"The tracker would not want to so much as risk losing the bird, as he would feel it not safe when not in his company." Mordecai said, as his eyes met hers. He smiled.
This is exactly what you said you would never do. Think about it, this is foolish.
Subconscious? Shut up.

Willow smiled at his words. When she had first seen Mordy she hadn't been sure what to think of him. But now she could see that deep down he was almost like a large teddy bear that needed some fun every now and than.

"What do you wish to do, now, my bird?" Mordecai asked, smiling himself, and holding Willow closer. He was truly happy, and content. And he felt something that.... That he didn't recognise. But he ignored it, that could be dealt with later. Right now he didn't care about much else besides the girl in his arms.

Seeing that the sky was darkening, Willow looked up at Mordy. 'You think we might want to set up a fire? Before it gets too dark.' She never was one to fear much, but even Willow knew that a fireless camp near a forest full of unknown creatures was dangerous; even to the most skilled hunter or fighter.

"That's probably a good idea." He said, and reluctantly set her down, before racing off into the trees, where he quickly hacked down a small tree and brought it back, where he then cleaved most of it into firewood sized pieces.
He found rocks, which he placed in a circle, and cut down the long grass in a twelve foot diameter. He placed the starter pieces of wood in the circle, in the way in which they'd burn longest. He then placed most of the cut grass over the wood as kindling, then stepped back, and produced a stream of flame from the ring on his finger, which lit the grass, which in turn lit the wood.
He then set about cutting the parts of the tree he previously hadn't into the appropriate pieces to make a simple Lean-to, which he constructed, then inside which he threw down the remaining cut grass at a mat. There was room for two.
He finally sat down next to Willow, smiling.
"Ask and you shall recieve."
