Leon leapt down from the tree. He'd spent the night up there, where he wouldn't have to deal with animals or most passerby. He looked at the horizon. The sun was just starting to rise. He smiled. Daybreak. His favorite time of day. Nature was able to be beautiful at that time, undisturbed by humanity. At least, usually.
He looked around, before pulling his hood up, and starting to walk through the field.

Ashe opened one eye and peered out from her grassy cover. The sky was just beginning to light up; time for her to start her day. Just as she was about to stand up and begin her journey again, she noticed a figure in the distance. His face was shadowed by the hood he wore, and he was slowly walking towards her. In an instant she was pressed to the dirt, hiding again beneath the waves of grass.

Leon kept walking, though he had that familiar feeling of being watched. Last he knew of, all his enemies were dead, and/or incarcerated. Besides that, he was not unduly worried. He merely had to poke an assailant and they'd go flying. As such, he continued walking. He began to sing to himself.
"Prison gates wont open up for me, on these hands and knees I'm crawlin'; Oh, I reach~, for you."

Ashe sat silently, listening to his soft voice singing. He looked threatening, but she suddenly felt that he wouldn't hurt her. She sighed, and decided to take a risk. Standing up slowly, she turned to face him, "Hi there, who're you?"

Leon stopped singing, and stopped midstride when Ashe stood up a few feet away. He was surprised to see that he had been right in his feeling of being watched, but he was more surprised that the watcher was a fairly lightly armed, and armored, beautiful woman. He raised an eyebrow, though it wasn't really visible beneath the hood. The fact of the watcher's appearance didn't make him feel any better, most of the top hitters in the world were female. But the way she spoke was calm, straight, pleasant, and truthful. As such, he felt it somewhat safe.
"My name is Leon.... Who are you?" He replied, somewhat awkwardly.

Ashe smiled, he really didn't sound dangerous. But she checked herself, if she was too careless she could wind up hurt. "I'm Ashe." Her eyes shifted, and her face remained uncertain. "Why is someone so heavily armed like you in a place like this?" She wanted to be sure she was safe before she let down her guard.

"Ashe is a nice name.....
Well, I like to be prepared. If I lose one weapon, I'll have another with which to fight. Should that be necessary, which it hopfully isn't, but unfortunately it often is." Leon replied, shrugging. "I'm out here because, well, I don't have anything better to do. I have no work at the moment." He finished, and pulled the hood off.
He didn't feel like the stranger was threatening, so he showed that sign of trust, but he was still wary.

Ashe watched, surprised, as the man removed his hood. His face was entirely different from what she had expected. She was so distracted by this that she never noticed the hungry eyes behind her that were slowly approaching.
The man behind her never saw Leon, his focus was directed entirely at Ashe. He stalked closer, his eyes glued to her back. When he was finally close enough, he wrapped one arm tightly around her stomach, his other hand pressed securely to her mouth. He leaned in to whisper in her ear, "You look like fun, care to join me?"

"I think you'll have a considerably better time with me." Leon snarled, grabbing the man's arm and hand and squeazing, pulverizing every bone in both, and lifting him bodily into the air. Amidst the howls of pain coming from the man, Leon could be heard.
"You are the most pathetic kind of person, pleasing yourself and making others suffer, simply because nobody stops you. I feel it's time you suffered a little, because there is sombody here to stop you."
He then threw the man down so hard it made a considerable cloud of dust arrise, and placed a boot on his ribs, applying pressure until he heard them snap, caving inward and restricing his breathing. He now screamed in between wheezes.
He placed his hands on the his shoulders and squeazed, breaking both his Scapulas and utterly destroying the sockets, meaning he'd never use his arms again.
Finally, he curb stomped the man in the groin, breaking his hips, among other things, and punted him over the field.
He turned back to Ashe, shaking his head.
"Some people in the worlds..."

Ashe watched him, slightly amused, slightly astonished by the way he had dealt with the man. "Thank you, but I could've handled it..." She didn't want to sound ungrateful for his help, but she had gotten used to sudden attacks like that. Men in this world were unfriendly to her. "Things like that happen a lot to me, I've learned to deal with it. Another second and he would've felt my sword at his throat." She smiled, he was the first person to help her; every time she had been assaulted before no matter how many people had been there no one would offer her a hand.

"I don't doubt it, but I couldn't just sit there. Things like that happen too often without recourse for the assailant." Leon said, shaking his head still. "And most of the time, like you said, people don't do anything. You're one of the lucky ones that caan handle yourself, but... Most can't. And then nobody does anything...." He finished, a look of disgust on his face. He couldn't stand how selfish people were, it made him ashamed to be human.

Ashe kept her eyes glued to him, still not trusting. "You make it seem as if you have never done anything to be ashamed of. With the way you travel, have you not at least killed a man before?" She had no intentions of prying, but if she kept him talking then maybe she could have a better idea of whether or not she could trust him.

Leon looked away. "I have killed before..." He trailed off, looking back at Ashe, "But never one undeserving. I kill killers, rapists, corrupt military forces, slave traders.... All those that ruin or end others lives without any reason. There is never truly reason to take a person's life, but it is only remotely acceptable when the one being killed has no right to remain living. Even then, it feels wrong. Like you shouldn't be the one to have the power to end someone's life in a swing of your arm."
He sighed.

Ashe could see the pain in his face, but she knew not to rely on that alone. She herself was good at masking emotions, and she had been deceived before. She closed her eyes, hiding any hint of emotion, keeping her voice even. "No matter what they have done in their life, is it really your choice to make if they have any right to remain living? The corruption of a person's heart is something that is judged only by another, are you truly the right person to make that final judgment?" She opened her eyes again, locking them on the man's face once more. How would he react to her mental attack?
(woo, I love mind games XD so shes pretty much putting his whole character and principles into question to see if she can trust him)

"You're probably right... But it seems wrong to let those that kill for pleasure, those that make others suffer for their enjoyment, continue living, so they may do it again. Perhaps it's not my right to make that judgement, but surely it is right to sacrifice one life -the life of a murderer, whether it be spiritual or emotional-, for the sake of the welfare of everyone and everything else." Leon said, still looking at Ashe, his expression plain, but his eyes showing both pain and a strange quality. In truth, it was both a feeling that he was right and wrong, that he felt he had the correct set of morals, but that he had no right to make them, to make those choices.
