Kathryn was unaware of the dangerous girl that was watching her with a malicious grin. Holding Touya's hand she placed a small peck on his cheek as she watched him.
"Touya, i truthfully don't think i could hate you."
She smiled lightly and warmly at him as she walked close to him.
"So where would you want to get some food?"

Touya was blissfully oblivious to everything as he beamed brightly. "There's this place in town that-" Before he could finish his sentence, he heard a soft noise from somewhere nearby. The melody floated on the wind, barely over a whisper. It sounded like... A flute. "Hey," he said quietly, "Do you hear that?"
Suddenly Touya's shoulder's slumped, and his eyes eased shut. Then he dropped to the ground.
The girl lowered the flute from her lips with a satisfied smile, "I'm sorry, Touya, but this is for your own good."

Kathryn noticed Touya drooping and caught him before he hit the ground, easily lowering him gently to the ground. Looking up she tried to find where the 'attacker was'.
"Where the hell are you, show yourself."
She growled slightly as she changed into her tigress form.

A laugh rang from the woods where the girl was hidden, and she stepped out from behind a tree to face Kathryn. Her hysterical laughs calmed, and finally stopped, "I see I'm not the only monster here," she said. Her fingers curled around the hilt of her sword. "I'm sorry, I can't allow you to monopolize Touya any more," she said as she drew the blade slowly. She wouldn't bother using her power on this girl; she simply wanted to cut her up slowly.
A warm, childish smile spread across Touya's face as he slept, the kind that he hadn't shown since years ago. Before that day, he had always shown that kind of expression. But since then, his smiles had always been sadder, more distant... As he slept now, his smile once more contained the innocence of a child.

Kathryn stepped in front of Touya. Her wolf form bristled as she growled threateningly at the female before her. She would protect Touya in any way that she could especially since he meant so much to her... She wouldn't allow any harm come of him

The girl's face contorted into a sadistic grin, "It's so cute how you try to protect him. The thing is, you're just not needed anymore." That's right, she thought, I've always protected him in the past, from everything and everyone that would try to hurt him. I can protect him now, too. I'm the only one he needs.
"Nii-chan!" A young girl called, as she skipped home happily. What she saw next wiped the happy grin from her face instantly. Standing several yards in front of her, unaware of her presence, was her precious brother and a woman she had never seen, kissing and embracing each other tightly. They broke apart, and the young man whispered softly, "I love you..." But the girl heard all too clearly.
"I love you too..." The woman answered.
"I don't know what to do... My parents will never let me be with you. They just want me to focus on school, and then they plan to marry me off to someone who'll put my family on better standings..."
The girl looked at him with sad eyes, "Then let's just run away. We can get married and live together in another town... I just want nothing more than to be together with you forever."
The man smiled, "Me too..."
Hearing this, the girl fell to her knees, "No... Nii-chan," she sobbed silently, "I don't want you to leave! I don't want that girl to have you! I wont let her! No ones good enough for you, no one but me..." But the man did not hear her.
That night, the woman opened her door and stepped into her house. "Hello?" No one answered. "Why is it so quiet?" She stepped into the room and flicked on the lights, to find the floor splashed in dark red. She gasped, "What's going on?"
Then she noticed one figure standing in the corner of the room, her face splashed with blood. The girl was clenching a sword, also stained with blood. "You... You're Touya's little sister! Whats going on?"
In a voice that sent chills down the woman's spine, the girl answered, "If you don't want to suffer the same fate as your family, you'll break up with my brother, and never see him again."
She left the woman alone in her house, dazed and crying next to three corpses.
Yes, Touya had no idea what she had become to protect him, the things she had done just to prevent his heart from breaking. But she had done it because she loved him. She had always loved him. "You have no place beside my brother's side..." The girl continued, "That place is for me and me alone." |

Kathryn snarled at the girl as she sank just slightly lower to the ground. She would be damned if she allowed this girl to play games with her. She never gave up protecting a loved one unless she was dead... and that would NOT be happening anytime soon. She glanced back at Touya, nudging him slightly with her nose before returning her icy daggered gaze back to the girl.
~What right do you have telling him who he can and can't be with. You sound more like a deranged parent who never wants to let go of their child, never allowing them to go used to the new world.~
Kathryn continued to snarl as she turned back to the girl. She just couldn't seem to stand how the girl was trying to take her away from Touya... it was almost as if she was jealous that her and Touya were happy with each other..

The girl smiled confidently, "He's only like that with you now because I've made sure he forgot about me. But once he sees me, he'll remember how close we were, without needing to know about our blood relation... He will finally see me as a woman, and not his little sister."
Tsubaki and Touya had always been close, their parents didn't have much time for them and saw them only as a way to make themselves look better. Because of that, they spent all their time with each other, and took care of each other. Touya had always protected her, and she loved him for it. But her obsession had started when she was ten years old; the day he had become her everything. She had been walking home alone form school, but she stopped when she saw a small puppy, lying on the ground and whining on the side of the road, nestled in a small alleyway.
Tsubaki stopped and knelt next to the poor animal with wide eyes, "What's wrong, little guy?" The puppy just whimpered in response. Then she noticed the odd angle of it's back leg, and the blood that wet its stomach. "You're hurt..." She stroked its head gently, trying to calm it down. "I have to help you..."
The sun had already begun to set, and she stood up hurriedly, "I've got to get someone..." But as she turned back toward the road, she saw a group of four grown men, all staring at her. They were blocking the path, watching her intently.
"Ummm, excuse me," she started in a shaky voice as she tried to slide past them, but the only answer came as a sharp laugh. She felt a rough pair of hands grasp her shoulders and shove her back into the alleyway, against the wall. She couldn't scream; her voice caught in her throat. Everything was going to end here....
Then her brother came. Bodies flew as he beat through them mercilessly. "What the hell are you trying to do to my little sister, bastards!" he yelled, and the girl who watched him with frightened eyes had never seen anything so beautiful. Soon, the four men who had attacked her were lying on the ground, beat beyond recognition.
Touya gently scooped up his little sister, her clothes tattered and splashed with blood, and brought her back home. He tenderly cared for her, and treated her even more delicately than he had before, as if she might break from one touch.
To Touya, he had saved his little sister from being gang-raped from a group of thugs. He never knew that he hadn't made it in time...
Tsubaki's smile darkened, yes, that was the day when she had lost all her innocence. At the young age of ten, she had already become tainted. Yet, that day, she also realized that she and her brother only needed each other, now and always. "Don't you get it? The happiness my brother has when he's with you now is only superficial; haven't you seen the look on his face right now? He is smiling like that because he's dreaming of the days when he was with me, his beloved little sister. You could never make him smile like that." (Ahhh sorry my posts are getting a little long, I get a little carried away with Touya's history because I didnt put it in his thread, so I'm trying to go into detail... It also helps emphasize how messed up his sister is, and how she got that way and what not ^_^) |

Kathryn continued to growl at the girl, her body not moving an inch. All of the strong muscles as she was in her wolf form were tightened and full of strength. She knew now that she could not bring herself to harm the female in front of her. Especially not since she was Touya's own blood, his sister. She could never harm anyone of his family. It was just against who she was... Self-defense, well of course she would defend herself, but she would do her best not to bring any harm to this girl.
"If you believe that I would leave his side because his sister does not want me there.. You are quite mistaken. For I will not leave his side unless that is what he wishes of me..."

Tsubaki was about to reply, when she saw Touya fidgeting restlessly, an anguished expression on his face. She sighed, so his little history trip had already gotten to that... It had hurt him a lot more than expected when his beloved girlfriend had told him she never wanted to see him again, and left without saying goodbye... After that, he had never been the same, and had always messed around with girls... But he didn't know what had really happened.
Touya hadn't seen the demon inside of that woman... But Tsubaki had.
She focused her energy toward him, and instantly his expression cleared, replaced by a carefree smile. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at him, she loved him so much. And soon, he would be hers alone. But of course, she had one last problem to take care of.
Tsubaki's smile widened, and a laugh escaped her lips, "But you see, that is what will happen, soon enough. As my brother sleeps, his memories of you are disappearing, one by one. When he wakes up, you will just be another girl, another person who would betray him. That's all my brother sees in girls, every girl but me, that is..."

Kathryn growled menacingly at the young girl.
"Your obsessed with him... aren't you. You wish to share him with no one. You disgust me... keeping your own brother like he is some kind of pet... that is utterly wrong."
Her hackles where still raised as she 'stalked' towards the girl. Each of her powerful muscles quivering slightly in anticipation...

We'll decide this the mortal way; the last one alive will be the one to spend forever with my brother." Of course, the victor would be her without question...

Kathryn's growl vibrated the air menacingly around her as she crouched slightly. in this tigress form, she was pact full of muscle while every single one of her senses were trained on her surrounding area. Her small but powerful eyes were glaring the younger female down as she looked for any breaks in her form, she would not be the savage one to attack first. Oh, no she would stick to being on the defensive here... her plan already stuck in her head of how to bring the girl to her knees.

Tsubaki drew her sword slowly, and glanced quickly at her brother, who was still sleeping peacefully on the ground. His smile wavered for a moment, and Tsubaki had to strain herself to hear the quiet whisper that escaped from his lips. But when she did, she'd wished she hadn't.
Her eyes widened in rage, and she lunged toward tiger in front of her blindly, her sword in thrust forward.
How could those words come from him, when he was supposed to be dreaming about her? Those four words that were the more painful to her than death itself.
"Kathryn... I love you..."
(I realize now that might be confusing, since I still used quotes and stuff for something that he said before, but yeah, that's what he whispered ^_^ I love Touya, he's so cute :3)

Kathryn just barely dodged Touya's sister's attack, the blade cutting into her shoulder. As she landed, a loud roar came from her throat as she began to growl deeply. Still, though, she would continue to force, Touya's sister to back up while she stayed near him until he woke up again. However, it was more difficult now that she had a large slash in her shoulder.
With a threatening growl, she swiped at the girl, aiming to hit some part of her as she 'aimed' at the girls chest...
