Zero smiled and gave a childish salute, "Wakataaa~" Then an amused expression crossed his face, "I'll get ready then." He ran around touching everything he saw, even the ground in several places, to attach his string. There weren't many trees in the area, so he couldn't string it through the air, but at least if either of the horses coming touched the ground his string would attach itself to them. And once his string touched them, it would be over before it even started.
(sorry bout the random japanese, sometimes I put it in without even thinking... if you don't know, taichou means captain and wakata is a more informal way of saying understood)
Courage tossed his head, irritated. "You're not the only one mom's important to, you know!" He knew his father wanted to protect him, but he was strong enough to fend for himself. His mother needed help, and he couldn't sit by and do nothing while a human hurt her. Rage filled his eyes, "I wont sit by and hide like a coward!"

Ember simply nodded as she leaned up against a tree as she waited for Zero to do his task as she also waited for the stallion and offspring to show up.
Glancing down at the mare she smirked, having to go up against the Leadress of the land, she figured it would have been at least bit harder than what it had been, hopefully this stallion that would be coming would pose more of a fight than that mare had...
Just to make sure that the mare wouldn't be found easily she took control over earth and had plants grow to hide the mare's body from view, not covering her so much she couldn't breath but just enough so that you couldn't see her.

Alashab Eblis looked into his son's eyes. he understood his frustration and hesitantly nodded, "Okay son, you can join, but be wary." He propelled forward over the land coming just inside his boundary. Immediately something was off, and he didn't like it a bit, but the anger that consumed him started to spark on his coat. He snorted and looked upon the clearing. He smelt something, it was minuet but it was there. His large white, blood stained wings moved the trees with each flick as he stayed above the ground looking down. Something was wrong here, the ground different.
His brain was turning and imaging the trouble that came here. His eyes started turning a blazing red. Fang wasn't here, thats what was missing. Her scent was everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time. His eyes searched feverishly. He didn't want to land yet as he listened past the beating of his wings. It was far to quiet. Not a single forest animal made a noise. He beat his wings harder sending him away from the ground. His wound he had received while running bled freely at his will, it dripped to the ground. His mind reeling with actions.
He had stored some of the blood to make him look weaker than normal, but in reality he was in peak shape. His eyes flickered over every inch and the uneasiness in his stomach showed. Something was here, something he wasn't used to. "I know your here! You cannot fool me!" His voice dark and dangerous. He knew there was an ambush waiting or something. He flew a little higher and looked at his son quickly before the clearing again, "Something isn't right." He mused enough for his son to here. It had to be something. He had felt it.
His land seemed to cry to him to turn away find somewhere safe to go. But the thought of that made his blood boil and he knew he couldn't just turn and run. He had made that mistake once, and he didn't plan on doing it again. He had turned from the war and it had only brought upon a new war. He would not leave his mare to die. Not now, not ever. He took a deep breath and looked at the ground once more. He spotted a place where it seemed to be all right, he stayed airborne.

Zero closed his eyes. "Kuru."(He's coming) He stuck his hands in his pockets and clutched several of his knives. As soon as he caught sight of the horses, he would entangle the entire sky with his thread. Nothing would escape him.
Courage caught sight of the humans first. "There!" he called, indicating the two on the ground. But something was missing. "Where's mom?" For a moment hope filled his eyes, "Maybe she got away?" But it quickly died, "No... She's there..." he said somberly. Then rage took it's place. He beat his wings furiously and charged at the humans. "What did you do with my mother?" he roared.

Smirking devilsihly, Ember commanded the wind to throw a powerful gust at the stallion, make it seem like mother nature was against him, having Mother Nature act as if she hated him within her very being and wanted the stallion to be knocked down a few ranks.... The smirk kept itself plastered on Ember's face as she kept a secret eye on the stallion adn his son...
'Perfect they are both here... this will make it easier to capture them... Oh this day couldn't have gone ant better so far... Now We just have to worry about capturing those to.."
Looking up at the two horses she easily overpowered the younger ones wind from his wings with wind controlled by herself, controlling the wind, cause part of it to embrace her adn protect her along with spirit, making her hair blow somewhat.
"I've done nothing to your mother, I'm just simply doing my job. Now we can do this the easy way... Or we can do it the hard way... And believe me when I say that the hard way will result in your lose."
Her voice was dead sounding, yet at the same time it was even, calm and collected, having had years of keeping her voice that way to hide any amusement she felt... Ember just simply stood there, her eyes glued on the horses.

The huge gust of wind hit his side. First thing that came to his mind. Unnatural. He landed in the only spot the said safe. It was a little ways away from the humans, but it was the only place to land. He stayed motionless staring at the female. Eyes searching her face for a clue. She must be daft. He thought, before spotting his mare. His eyes hardened and rage swept through him like a wildfire. "Fang." He said. His son was right. He suddenly looked at his shoulder as it still bled and then he looked at the girl and lowered his head. He put pressure on the leg then stumbled slightly, acting hurt. Flying was one thing, walking was another. He kept his head low and submissive. They had his mare, and he didn't want her hurt.

Courage stopped short when he saw the way his father was acting. "Father, what are you doing? Mom needs us now, we don't have time to mess around!" He shook his head, "If you wont, then I'll save her!" He landed and tucked his wings, then lunged at the two humans. Before he was in attacking range, he stopped suddenly. "What the...?" His legs wouldn't move. No, they couldn't move.
Zero smiled. "Trap set and sprung." Then his arms shot out of his pockets, and in moments the knives circled the colt, ensnaring him in an invisible web. The young horse was forced to the ground, tightly bound. "You shouldn't move if you don't like pain," Zero said smugly, his tone mocking, "These strings of mine aren't only capable of tying things up." As a demonstration, he jerked his arm, tightening one of the strings around the colt's back and causing it to cut into his flesh. Courage gasped out in pain.
Zero turned to the stallion. "If you don't want your son to become mincemeat, I suggest you come quietly. Oh, that goes for your pretty little mare we've captured already too." he said, referring to Fang. With the slightest movements of his fingers, he could slice cleanly through their flesh.

Ember smirked as she stood attitudes and to her full height, watching the stallion like a hawk.
"Try to make any ruckus about coming with us and I'll drain the life out of both your mare and colt."
As she spoke she commanded Spirit to go to the foot and attempt to make him calm and sedated, so he would injure either her or himself. She unhooked one of the elemental chains and took a step toasted the colt, keeping herself facing the stallion in case he tried anything.
"Like My accomplice said before, try anything and both your mare and colt will be in trouble. By following us you will lose far less than trying to fight against us."

Her put up a force-shield, figuring she and the male had a nasty few tricks. He watched his son get captured with ease and he shook his head. Before lifting it.
"Do not take me for a fool, I am far from it. But what good is damaged cargo to you? Not good at all. By hurting my mare and colt, you only lessen their value." He watched his son, pain in his own eyes as he watched the barbaric actions of the humans. Once they had been so nice, but now. Now what was wrong with them? He shook his eyes and turned to the male.
"Take away your invisible lines in my home." His gaze then turned on to the girl.
"Do not try and play games with the forces. I am to old not to know that." He knew there was a reason why things where off. He had already began to fill in his spots and places of the humans. But he stood where he was. Refusing to move until his orders were complied to.
"And I shall not be taken like an animal. I shall walk with you two, or if you wish, girl, I will let you ride me. I have nothing to resist for." |

Zero grinned, "Accomplice? I thought we were more than that," he said teasingly, putting his arm around Ember's shoulder. But he quickly turned back to the stallion. "As you wish, Lord Mightyness," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I have no need of my threads in your land now, I have what we came for." He snapped his fingers and all threads attached to the land dissipated, save the ones binding the two horses.
Zero turned back to Ember. "You can do what you want with him, Taichou, I'll stay a good distance behind with these two. If he tries anything, he knows what will happen. Besides, if I have to kill one off, we can just raise the price of the other, right? I bet we could get whatever price we asked for these ones, they're quite valuable." He raised both of his hands, one hand controlling the mare, the other controlling the colt. He brought them forward, slowly dragging the two towards him. "Shall we head home?"

Ember nodded before taking a step towards the stallion, the chain in her hands...
"Two conditions and two conditions only, stallion. One, you allow me to link this chain around your neck, and two, you allow me on your back, with no funny stunts or tricks."
She kept her eyes on the stallion as she took another step forward, every one of her senses on high alert.

His ears few back. This human must be daft. Did she not understand what no chains meant? His ears pinned tight to his skull and his eyes shown like embers in a fire. This human mustn't be one of the smartest ones.
"Are you daft?! Why would I do anything smart when your boy toy has my family?! I do not wish to see my son and my beloved killed." His anger and frustration clear on his face. Why would he be so stupid as to disobey and kill his loved ones. These humans didn't know what they were doing. If the Lord Akatsuki knew about his disappearance, everyone would die. Including the human. His only choice to show her the old lands. The ones that were now barren and unfit for living.
"You need to see what you are going to do to the world if you take me out of it. You are unaware of the destruction that will come if I am taken, unless you take the Dark Lord out of the world." His eyes steady watching and analyzing her every move, glancing every so often to see his family. His other mare were smart to hide. He kept his head as level as he could, thinking strategy. |

Zero's eyes narrowed, he didn't like the way the stallion was obviously looking down on them. "I don't think you're in any position to make demands," he said darkly, flexing his wrist slightly. Courage cried out in pain as another thread dug into his leg. "The way I see it, the easiest and safest way for these two is for you to comply with our requests silently, and make no complaints. As far as the rest of the world, I care for none of it. I protect my own, my new family, and no one else. Just as you cannot touch us, neither will this 'Dark Lord' you speak so highly of. I can guarantee that." He continued glaring at Eblis, but then turned to face Ember. In the end, it was her decision, and he would follow her.

Ember watched the stallion with cautious eyes, She might be cunning and such but she would keep her word.
"Fine, the chains stay hooked to me. Zero, this 'dark Lord' he has been talking about... he shall be our next target if we can find someone who will pay a nice enough amount."
She had a glint in her eyes as she walked towards the stallion.
Now standing at his side, she hoped onto his back, not an ounce of fear running through her veins, she simply held a blank face.
"Just walk forward and I will tell you the directions to where we are going. Does that work for you stallion."
Her voice held no emotion but a tone that was serious and spoke how she meant business. She knew that they would need to wait once they got the horses to their hideout before telling the contractor. That way all injuries made could be healed, therefore the price would no be diminished at all.
"Zero, if necessary, i'll command Spirit to heal any injuries that they acquire." She was looking back at Zero, holding his gaze as she sat straight on the stallion, keeping herself well-balanced.

His ear twitched and he had an instinct to buck as she hopped onto his back, but he stood solid. He was merely raw meat. And thats when the idea struck him. She wanted something to control, he knew someone who could be controlled. His lips shown a smirk and his wings spread suddenly shooting him with the girl into the air.
"Your coming with me, to see what this world will turn into. He made it quick and to the point. His large wings made him like a bullet but it was so smooth. He flew over the old lands slowing to let her see the ruin. He turned to a cave like mountain system. Scales littered the ground, large ones. He figured most of the carnage here was made by the beast.
"Have you ever heard the stories of a mare, a mare who had an inner beast. One so great that it put others to shame. Mystic Danger, the only mare known to take dragon form. She would be an asset to you if you could capture her. She is more valuable than me, and she can be controlled." He gave her half a look before continuing his circle and going back towards his land. He hoped she would want the Destructor more than himself and his family. |
