Zero's eyes flashed with anger, but then he forced himself to calm his expression. "He's gonna regret disobeying us. I think Taichou's gonna have a lot to heal after all." He gave a dark laugh, and turned to Courage. He strode up to the horse, and knelt down by his side, then smiled, "You like your dad, huh?" Courage could tell the smile wasn't sincere, "What're you gonna do?" he asked cautiously. "Oh, nothing too serious. I just thought I'd show your father who he's messing with by giving you a little pain... But don't worry, I'll be sure not to damage you too much, I'd like to get a high price for you." His tone was smug and unsympathetic. "Let's see how long it takes your dad to come in with his fists... or hooves, flying, shall we?" He held his hand in front of the colt for him to see. Then he slowly moved one finger inward, and the threads began to tighten.

Ember easily leaned forwrd to stay balanced when the stallion took off before sitting so she would stay on. "Trust me, we aren't going to be shoving you adn your family aside, there is already a contractor signed up to buy you three. All you have done was give us another target. That's it. Now, knowing Zero he won't be happy at the moment and my guess is that he is doing something. I suggest you get us back to your family as fast as you got us to the Destructor, or there will be some damage done." Her voice was emotionless as she spoke, making sure that the stallion could hear her loud and clear.

He froze in mid flight. His son. He had been a fool. And his heart sank, he saw no way out of it. He had failed his family. He had failed his purpose. "Sadly for you she no longer lives here. And you will have hell finding her. I won't be helping." His voice quivered before he felt his anger grow, not with the human but with himself. His large wings suddenly beat fast but not fast enough. He landed on the ground and without warning bolted faster than ever. Once again his hooves sparked and he forced adrenaline to pump through him. His wings spread and in a smooth motion he was swept into the air. He flew faster than wind cold. "Courage, Fang, I'm sorry." He repeated over and over to himself. He had failed everything he stood for. His eyes blazing with frustration and tears. He was a disaster. With a loud ear shattering rumbling whinny he dove for the field galloping a full circle before slowing down drew to the speed. His body trembled and his head hung as his sides pumped. He was tired, his muscular cords trembling now. His eyes distant as sweat, thick in foamy clung to his coat. His wings receded painfully into his coat, blood dripping down from his sides. "Lets go." His voice showed his exhaustion. He couldn't hold his head up, his limbs felt heavy. His looks terrible, as if he were ridden hard and long. He took a wavering step forward, fine chiseled Arabian features did nothing for him now. But betray him, for something he wasn't.

Ember slid off of the stallion, seeing the condition he was currently in she sighed, palcing a small, cool hand on his side before closing her eyes, allowing some onher energy flow back into the stallion, replenishing some of what he lost hopefully... If it didn't work the she would have attempted to help and done nothing... Looking at Zero she spoke. "Zero, loosen your strings. We need to get ready to head bag..."

Zero glanced up at them, a grin on his face. "You made it just in time. Let me have a word with our friend, here, first though. Before I do anything I have a couple requests I would like honored." His tone showed that he wouldn't take no for an answer on these 'requests.' He rose to his feet. "I haven't done any major damage to your precious little boy, yet. I might reconsider hurting him... If you grovel." Zero's eyes glinted, he had had enough of the high and mighty stallion looking at him with condescending eyes. "Oh, and I'm tired of your decisions, you don't seem to understand who's in charge here. I believe you're the daft one." He took a confident step towards the stallion. "If you want daddy's little furball to make it out of this one unscathed, I suggest you drop that foolish act you call pride and let Taichou put her chain on you."

He felt the girl try and do something good for him, but he knew he was beyond help. His muscles still trembled and the sweat still came in foam form. His eyes black, dull and lifeless now. He didn't want to screw up anymore. He had already done enough to cause pain to his loved ones. He had caused them pain by living and breathing. When Zero spoke to him all he did was stare straight ahead as if he weren't alive anymore. He knew what Zero wanted, he wanted to be right. "Do anything to me, just don't hurt my son or beloved. I know I mean little to you humans, and my life is even less. But take mercy on the mare and colt. Don't make them pay for my mistakes. Let me feel the pain." His voice was flat and emotionless. His muscles quivered from under his hide. He kept his head lower than Zero's shoulders. He didn't see color anymore. He knew his life was over. He was to trusting of humans. And that had been his down fall. He kneeled down on both knees, and stayed like that, not looking at his son, for he felt like a failure to him. He was suppose to be strong but he wasn't, not when his family needed it the most.

Ember sighed slightly before placing the chain around the stallion's neck. "Zero, let's head out and get back now. You know we are on a time limit. We might have been ahead of schedule earlier but now we are behind, come on." Her voice and eyes held nothing, she was completely serious. Truthfully Ember was not one to be behind schedule and stay like that. Oh no, she would notice that she was behind schedule adn kick it into speed again in order to get ahead.

Zero smiled in victory. "Of course, Taichou, I'm completely satisfied now." He turned his eyes back to Eblis, to make one quiet comment that showed the last shred of humanity he had left, "Make sure you don't let anything happen to his mother, unless you want him to end up like me..." Then his grin returned and his face showed no real emotion.
"Alrighty then, lets go back. We certainly don't wanna keep Mr. Contractor waiting." His voice began to trail off, "I wonder who he is anyway..."

As he felt the chain on his neck his eyes grew as lifeless as ever. His head touching the ground with disgrace from himself. He was still kneeling when his muscles trembled with the effort he tried to use to get up now. He had no strength for his running and flying had wiped it out of him. He tried over, but his muscles visibly trembled. He had a special block now me made in his brain, unknown to any of the others he was blocking any energy coming into his body. He fell to his side and tried once more to get up. With a great amount of effort he heaved himself up. Panting hard afterwards. "May I see my son and beloved?" He took a step toward both of them, now limping in his front. It hurt him bad but he would live. Its what he deserved. He reached out his muzzle to both of them. "I'm sorry." Tears show in his eyes. As he watched for their reactions.

Ember had allowed the chain to hang loosely around the stallion's neck, she had altered it within an instant whitout anyone knowing, instead of taking energy from the stallion it would give it back to him.. Though with how the situation was playing out, it seemed as if the stallion was somehow blocking any energy from entering his system... which made no since to her... if the stallion had more energy then he'd be able to help his family more... had such a powerful stallion allowed his spirit to be broken so easily? she hoped not... or else his price just might go down... She watched the stallion before placing her thumb and middle finger near her mouth, making a swift shrill whistle.
Within a few seconds hooves galloping towards them could be heard but there wasn't a single thing of evidence of anything being there, the sound seemed to come out of nowhere when suddenly there was a cloud of heavy dust infront of them... When the dust began to settle, there was a beautiful bay American Paint mare standing there. The mare walked over to Ember as the girl smirked. "Hello Fate. Glad you came swiftly girl." She rubbed the mare's forehead, smiling slightly.

Courage lifted his head to look at his father. "It's not your fault, there was nothing you could do..." Fang stared ahead with unseeing eyes, barely conscious. She was too tired to hear anything, let alone respond.
Zero sighed, "Lucky... I need to get myself a horse, I'm tired of walking." He turned towards Ember and started walking, pulling the two horses behind him.

Eblis gave a heavy sigh and wasn't surprised by the mare showing up. He shook his head sneering a little. How could anyone serve these two? He huffed as he felt the energy of the chain change. He sighed and kept the block up as he moved more towards his son and mare, before turning to Ember. "She's to weak to make it. My son to. Don't let them be so drained." He appealed to Ember, for she seemed more Human than Zero.

Ember climbed onto Fate's Back. "Don't worry Zero, you'll find yourself a horse you can connect to soon." With a sigh, Ember had Fate walk over to the young stallion and his mother. Reaching over she placed her palm on there foreheads before closing her eyes, allowing some of her energy to go to the mare, not enough that she could fight back, but the mare would have enough that she would be able to go the rest of the distance to the organization... A sigh escaped her lips as she repeated the process with the young Stallion. When she had finished she slumped forward onto Fate's neck, basically exhausted after giving away that much of her energy... Fate looked back at her owner before speaking. "She should be fine by the time we get back to the organization... she just tired herself out by doing that... Zero... we really should be getting back... atleast before night falls..."

Zero moved his hands quickly, and his threads adjusted themselves so that they no longer covered the horses' legs. Then he pulled the animals to their feet. "Can you walk?" he asked abruptly. "Yeah," Courage answered. Fang simply nodded.
Zero started walking at a quick pace, glancing back occasionally to make sure the horses were keeping up. "We have to hurry..."

Eblis moved slowly behind his mare and colt, encouraging them with simple touches. His eyes soft and friendly on them but constantly they were fading quickly. His body ached and he looked horrible. His ribs were showing and his eyes lifeless. He still kept up with the others. His muscles quivering.
